• White Pocket - Join a small, morning group tour of 4-10 participants departing from our Kanab office. Enjoy a scenic 2-hour drive each way, with approximately 1 hour on the highway and 1 hour off-road. In between, spend 3-4 hours hiking and exploring the stunning White Pocket. Your knowledgeable guide will accompany you throughout the journey, pointing out the best photo opportunities and providing insights into the area’s geography and wildlife.

Located six miles southeast of The Wave and Coyote Buttes, White Pocket is a “Mars-like” wonder spanning a compact one square mile. This gem within the vast Vermilion Cliffs National Monument in far Northern Arizona is a geological marvel.

In contrast to its vibrant red-hued neighbors, White Pocket is distinguished by its striking light gray and white colors. Swirling patterns adorn the thin layered strata, creating a visual delight. The sandy plains are sprinkled with modest vegetation, providing a stark yet harmonious contrast to the area’s distinctive erosive rock formations.
