• Egypt 1 Slot Canyon - Meet our guide at Canyon Country Lodge and begin your journey. You will then drive down Hole In the Rock Road to the Egypt Canyon Trailhead. You will then spend 2 hours hiking and canyoneering through this amazing slot canyon. After arriving back at your vehicle you make the drive back to meeting point in Escalante.

Egypt 1 offers a wealth of experiences in a brief approach and exit. Those with advanced skills can downclimb the entire canyon, while others may opt for three short rappels. The narrows are impressive, and the challenges are engaging enough to maintain interest. With skilled leadership, this canyon is ideal for families or beginners. The downclimbs are manageable with teamwork and partner assistance. However, the canyon may retain some water after heavy rainfall.

Tours are subject to weather conditions. Punctuality is crucial. We operate on MST, which is an hour different from Las Vegas and Arizona. If you are more than 15 minutes late, we may have to proceed without you.
