Great trip. Well... - Great trip. Well organized. We have seen tons of penguins, it was worth to pay for "plus sitting" closer to penguins highway. Sanctuary tour gave us opportunity to see some wildlife and take a picture with handsome koala Victor 😊. Travis our driver and guide was great. Very informative. We learn a lot about Sydney and animals from him. And the best part he took us around island before penguins parade so we could see penguins barrows with some baby's in. Thank You Travis!

Glad we did this - This was a highlight of our trip to Melbourne. Excellent and low-key commentary. Good explanations of wallabys and penguin behavior, etc. Zoo was a little sad but at least we got a quick overlook of animals in region. Should be warning to pack your own food - we did but some complained about limited options.

Amazing Penguin Parade - Amazing experience to see the fairy penguins emerge from the sea to return to their nests and feed the juveniles.

Phillip Island - We enjoyed our visit to Phillip Island. The scenery was beautiful. The highlight for the day was the Penguin Parade. We opted for the Plus tour that allowed us to have a closer view of the penguins emerging. It is worth the additional cost since the penguins are very small. We enjoyed our tour, however it is a very long day.

Enjoyed the Penguins - As the van did not pick us up until after 2:00 pm, there was not enough time to spend at the on route animal sanctuary. We arrived at 3:30 and it closed at 4:00. Otherwise, the van was comfortable, the driver and guide excellent. We paid extra for a closer viewing of the Penguin Parade which was worthwhile. As we were the last to be picked up, I assumed we would be the first to be dropped off, but unfortunately we were the last at midnight. Due to a concert it was very slow going through mid town Melbourne. He said he should have dropped us off first and I think been aware of the concert and how it would affect traffic.

Little Penguins are the real stars of this show - This is a unique way of witnessing the extraordinary nightly onshore landing of hundreds of Little Penguins as they return to their burrows. The trip included ‘Penguin Plus’ access at the Nature Park which basically gets you a little closer to the action. Whilst the penguins are the indisputable stars of the show, the tour also included a stop off en route at the Moonlit Animal Sanctuary where you’re able to feed wallabies and see koalas and other Australian wildlife at close quarters. The only problem was that since this closed at 4pm which we had an overlong meal stop in the small town of Cowes. Apart from a nice sea view at the bottom of the Main Street there is little else to see and the choice of eateries was average at best. Our guide and driver - Gary - was very informative and friendly and it was nice to be part of a small tour group. In summary, a must for anyone who loves wildlife lovers but would have been better without the ‘warm-up’ acts.
