Awesome tour with Lilly. - This was one of the best tours, if not the best, that we have done. Lilly was so knowledgeable about the history of Southampton and enthusiastic to share her love of the city. We learned so much about the past and present and really appreciated what we saw through her stories about the people that lived in Southampton. Lilly seemed able to answer any questions that we had. My husband loves WW2 history and she knew much about Southampton’s involvement. What an awesome tour guide.

This will completely change your understanding and perspective on Southampton - The walking tour was excellent. Lillian speaks very well, held our attention throughout with well researched information and a wonderful feeling for Southampton. The Titanic legacy - still a memory in Southampton - Our guide Lilly was outstanding. Her insights into the lasting legacy in Southampton of the Titanic tragedy were revealing and surprising. A Truly Special Experience – Wish We Met Her Sooner! - I’ve been to Southampton many times, but this Private Walking Tour with Dr. Lillian completely transformed the way I see the city. Her depth of knowledge about the local history and culture is truly impressive — she brought the old town to life with fascinating inside stories that you just can’t find in a guidebook.
What made it even more special were her local tips: from hidden gems to fantastic restaurant recommendations. I only wish we met her earlier in the trip — we would’ve definitely booked our dinner spots in advance based on her suggestions 😊
Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Southampton. Whether it’s your first time or your tenth, Dr. Lillian will show you a whole new side of the city!

Superb private tour of historic Southampton - A fantastic experience and an absolute must for anyone visiting Southampton who is interested in history and how the area has changed over time. Highly recommended. Our guide Michelle was friendly, accommodating and offered lots of interesting insights into the local area. PAcked full of stories, anecdotes, and tales of the past, which really brought the city to light. Some helpful recommendations as well for places to visit, eat, and drink whilst staying in Southampton. One of the best guided tours we have ever had.
