Review of Our Experience with John and his college Steve as Tour Guides in Jeju - I had planned two days in Jeju to explore its highlights, so I researched various tour options and came across John and his team. I contacted them via WhatsApp, sharing my ideas and the places I wanted to visit. John responded promptly and even provided additional suggestions, which was very helpful.
Day 1: Southern Jeju Tour with Steve
On the first day, we toured the southern part of Jeju with Steve, one of John's colleagues. The itinerary was as follows:

Steve did his best to communicate with us in English, explaining as much as possible and even taking photos of us during the tour, which he later sent to us. Unfortunately, one of us felt unwell early in the tour, so Steve kindly took us back to the hotel after the first stop. Once they felt better, we resumed the tour. Steve’s understanding and flexibility were greatly appreciated.
Day 2: Eastern Jeju Tour with John
On the second day, we had the pleasure of touring with John, who impressed us with his excellent English and detailed explanations about each attraction. Our eastern Jeju itinerary included:

The tour was perfectly balanced between exploring attractions, taking photos, and having time to enjoy the moments. John was attentive to our preferences, offering additional recommendations for restaurants and other attractions. His friendly, open, and humorous personality made the experience even more enjoyable.
We had a fantastic time on both tours and highly recommend John and his team. They are professional, accommodating, and truly enhance the experience of discovering Jeju Island.

Organized and easy tour - My family was able to visit all the main sights we wanted to visit, without being stressed about the time or worried about anything. Our tour guide, John, even added a couple of awesome spots to our 2-day tour. He arranged everything, including entrance tickets and food. It was really a smooth trip! John also speaks perfect English and is knowledgeable about various Jeju and other info - importantly too, he takes the best photos! We hope to be back!

Awesome Jeju Tour with John - As a solo traveler, I flew to Jeju for a day trip and took the tour with John. He made everything very easy. He communicates quite well even before the tour started so meeting him at the airport was a breeze. The entire tour was enjoyable. John was extremely knowledgeable about the area. He is fluent in its local history, rich culture, and the nature and science of it all. For each stop, he gives a background of the spot that compliments well to prepare you to see each amazing sights. Unlike big tour bus companies, John facilitated a no-pressure touring. I took my time for each sight and left whenever I was done and ready. For lunch, he took me to a local restaurant for a good taste of local home cooking, food was amazing. During my day tour, I saw the ocean water and mountain snow all in a day—the mysteries and wonders of it all. Thanks for a memorable tour John! I will definitely be back to see you with friends and family.

One of the best encounter in Jeju - We engaged John as our guide and it was a great decision. He came highly recommended by my friend. He was patient and kind and took us to interesting places. He explained the geological background of each site that he took us and it had helped us to appreciate the astounding nature. We love the cafes that he recommended. He is kind and full of local knowledge despite not being a Jeju origin. A highly recommended guide.

Private taxi guide on jeju. Fun experience. - Jeju is a beautiful place to visit. Much slower pace than Seoul. The weather is warmer in the winter. Cool but pleasant. Our guide Steve was great. Great way to get around with private taxi tour. Jeju is not as easy to get around using public transit as Seoul. Put your comfortable shoes on because you'll be rewarded with beautiful sights at the end of the trails

Great time in Jeju - Thank you John for showing my mum and I around Jeju Island, giving us amazing knowledge about the history and life of the people in Jeju. Everywhere we went, he would tell us all the history and background info about the location. He also took us to nice local restaurants. Thanks for giving us a good time in Jeju

So glad we booked! - Mr. Kim was our tour guide and driver and we would 100% recommend him to anyone wanting to tour Jeju. He reached out before our trip to suggest an itinerary then worked with us to visit all the places we wanted to see. This also included a request for lunch which consisted of the best KBBQ I have ever had including having one of the most unique experiences we have ever had. We loved the mix of nature, temples, and overall exposure to a lot of Jeju in just one day. He was such a gracious host, and also importantly, an excellent driver. He never rushed us and was quick to provide such informative descriptions of everything we visited which was so appreciated. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with Mr. Kim!

An original experience of an unspoilt island - This tour gave an extremely good understanding about the geography, history, culture and development of Jeju . The 2 days tour is necessary for sufficient and thorough coverage of the island without rush.
