Started with a lovely tour down the Brisbane River, and then we had ample time at the koala sanctuary. It was a great da - What a great experience for any age level. And who doesn’t love koalas? I bought the koala experience and even though it seemed, I was with this qualify only seconds I understand that we shouldn’t stress out any animal like this. The staff was extremely pleasant and helpful throughout the whole experience. No matter where I went in the sanctuaryor portion I visited the staff was exceptional, kind, and helpful. I highly recommend this experience for any age group.

I would recommend this tour - The river cruise is a very enjoyable way to get to the Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary. The Sanctuary was a great place to see koalas, kangaroos, and emus up close. The birds of prey show was great. While traveling along the river we heard a bit of history, and just enjoyed the scenery. The crew were very friendly and helpful.

Fine day out - I booked this trip as I wanted a tour of Brisbane as well as a trip to see koalas. The boat trip was pleasant and the crew friendly, however the tour was a pre-recorded audio that was played during the journey - this was acceptable, but felt impersonal. Food and drink was available on the boat, but at extra cost. We were asked to take a photograph of the koala sanctuary map. There were quite a few steps on arrival at the koala sanctuary - perhaps not ideal for those with mobility issues. We had two and a half to three hours at the sanctuary, which I thought was a little short. The sanctuary was great, although of course some animals weren’t visible as they were asleep. There was food and drink available there to purchase which was acceptable, but given the heat of the day, an air conditioned room to eat in would have been nice.
