Absolutely worth it! - Hoira and Wendy did a great job and accompanied a day full of great views, wildlife and lovely hikes.
Thank you!
The front row on the upper deck (that did the hike, even if we didn’t raise our hands… 😉)

Great experience - I would really recommend this tour for everyone who's visiting Cape Town for the first time. Julien, Keith and Lee-Ann were super friendly and knowledgeable and we had so much fun!

Amazing views, must visit - Many thanks to Mutore Tours for a memorable trip. We had so much fun riding the Funicular to the light house at Cape Point and then toured the Cape of Good Hope. Finished off with a ride to Boulders for the Penguins. Thank you Mutore Tours for a memorable trip to Cape Town.

Good day out from Cape Town - We booked this the day before we went, due to other events being cancelled because of the weather.
Having got on the bus, somewhat chaotic, but not too much, we were greeted by our host & guide for the day, Louis, initially, his wry comments, slightly irked me, but it wasn’t long before I warmed to him, and by ½ way to the cape, I was hanging on his every word. His commentary was well informed and informative. At one point on the return journey, he commented that previous feedback had said he “never shut up.“ To be frank, when he wasn’t talking, left me longing for the next bit… I particularly liked the story about the Brits willingly handing back the Cape to the Dutch, then realising it was a good strategic position, so went to war to win it back!
When we arrived at cape point, Louis gave us a good safety briefing, and useful information on the effective speed of the ‘fast food.’
Once we’d trekked up to the lighthouse and refreshed ourselves there was a walk available across the point. For me, this is Louis area for development, having briefed is on keeping together, and mentioning he was ‘old’ he shot of like a gazelle (or perhaps I should say Springbok.) with the group snaking up and down the hill, i’m a regular hiker, and whilst I was able to keep up, many didn’t or couldn’t. Also, Louis could add to his briefing that many of the wooden steps, particularly on the way down are loose and we should be careful of how we place our feet.
On the return journey Louis kept us informed with his commentary. We stopped at penguin sanctuary, well worth the visit to see the penguins in their natural habitat.
The day was enjoyable and informative, however I do have one comment on the booking process. There was the tour fee, the national park fee, then the penguin sanctuary fee. During the online booking process I couldn’t see how to include all items, so I paid the tour price, then had to pay the additional fees on the bus. If when booking on line, it said something like “international visitors fee” including boulders beach penguin colony. This would save the hassle of paying 3 times.

Inaccurate facts wrt location and D6 removal of residence. - Overall the bus ride and destinations were great. However, the tour guide Louis, confused his facts somehow, he mentioned Platteklip gorge on Table Mountain is in Kirstenbosch.
When narrating about the removal of the people of D6, try to give all facts or don't leave out important facts.
Also, don't use colours like yellow, red & orange when speaking about race, be real.
I don't think his sense of humour was appropriate for an extremely diverse group of people.

A Great Tour of the Cape Peninsula. - A wonderful tour of the Cape peninsula with our excellent and very knowledgeable tour guide Brahms whose grasp of the English language was masterful as was his his sense of humour and wit. The scenery was well worth seeing although it’s a shame that recent fires had taken our large parts of the area just before Cape Point. We even managed to see the big 5 in our journey - Cape Antelope, Baboon, Ostrich, seals and Penguins! Well done Brahams you made the day very enjoyable.

Scenic ride to Cape Point. - Full bus load but a nice ride despite the mroning traffic jam, The guide was knowledgeable of the history of Cape Town gave a very informative running commentary. He made an effort to engage with the passengers, young and old. Also took the initiative to book the restaurant at Table Mountain Park for everyone on the bus.
