AMAZING! - What an incredible experience! We were picked up in a timely fashion from our tour guide, and we made several stops along the way to break up the drive to the safari . Our tour guide, Mawande, was so friendly, knowledgeable, and fun.
Once we arrived at the safari grounds, we were greeted and shown to our beautiful rooms and then taken out on the first safari. You really haven’t lived until you have been on a safari. There are no words to describe the beauty and the excitement you will feel being out there with the animals.
The accommodations were clean and modern and the food was really good as well.
Definitely a once in a lifetime experience and I would recommend this tour to every single person looking to top off their trip to Cape Town.

Unforgettable Safari Trip - Had such an amazing safari trip! Big shoutout to our tour guide, Mawande, he was super friendly, kind, and made the whole experience so much more fun. His energy and stories added a special touch to the journey. Definitely a trip to remember!

Perfect overnight safari from Cape Town - Vaughn, our tour guide, was awesome! Such a positive person. We had lots of laughs and great conversation over the two day trip. The lodge was beautiful and everyone that worked there was very helpful. Janelle drove us for our two game drives. Her knowledge about the animals was amazing! Highly recommend this trip to anyone not wanting to go to far from Cape Town.

Unforgettable safari tour – highly recommended! - The two-day safari tour in South Africa was a real travel highlight – perfectly organized from start to finish and an unforgettable experience!
The lodge was simply fantastic – beautifully located, beautifully decorated and the facility is equipped with all comforts. The sunrise and sunset safaris were magical. Nature, light, wildlife. Together we tracked down the “Big Five” and saw so much more!
The friendliness and competence of the entire team is particularly noteworthy. The guides answered each of our questions with a lot of charm and expertise and guided us through the terrain in an informative way. In the evening we could relax around the campfire and were spoiled with a delicious dinner.
A special thanks goes to our personal driver and guide Mawande. With his exciting stories, interesting stops and deep knowledge of country and people, he made the journey not only enjoyable but also educational - so the journey passed as if in flight.
Absolute recommendation for all who want to experience South Africa at its best!

Great whistle stop tour if short on time! - We had a super two day trip from Capetown to Garden Route Game Lodge which gave us a good idea of life away from the city. Our guide, Chris, was absolutely excellent. He was so knowledgable about all aspects of South African history, culture and traditions and kept us engaged the whole time. We certainly covered plenty of ground and visited Cape Agulas, Hermanus Bay, the Penguins in Betty’s Bay amongst other stops. As well as being an expert guide, Chris is an excellent driver and we felt completely safe in his capable care. He also has a lovely manner and was constantly good humoured and made the whole trip fun.
The safari is in a private game park which means that there are a limited number of animals there and it’s not quite the same as a full safari experience in one of the huge national parks. However, we had two very interesting game drives with Jacu (?) who shared fascinating insights on the animals and was able to answer our questions. We saw lions, elephants, cheetahs, different antelope etc. and rhinos. The accommodation was comfortable (we had a lodge) and the food was lovely

Chris, a guide was amazing and the trip was wonderful. He took it to another level and it will be beyond my expectations - Chris was our guide and he created an experience of a lifetime for us. He was very knowledgeable and taught us a lot about Cape Town and the general area. We learned a lot from him and he went out of his way to do things for us. The lodge was beautiful and the whole trip was amazing Mostly because Chris was such a good guide and was very friendly and easy to be around. I recommend a trip to everyone who is thinking of visiting a private national reserve.
Cannot wait to come back and do other trips

Amazing Safari Trip - We did the 2 days Garden Route Safari Trip and it was amazing. Mawande is a super knowledgeable and friendly guide who gave us a lot of insights on our way from Cape Town to the Garden Route. Also the Garde Route Lodge was such a beautiful accommodation and we saw many animals on our game drives - can truly recommend!

If you don't have time you might try this option - Don't expect this to be like Kruger Park, Sabi Sand or similar but if you don't have much time you might try this option. There are mostly couple or three, four of certain animals and gives you a demo feeling of how bigger ones look like. The place you stay is quite comfortable and has good enough options for dining. Going from Cape town and coming back is a long drive. We had Chris as our tour guide and I believe he did his best to make this long trip more enjoyable for us.

Nice tour, - Trip was super fun. Mawande was a super guide :) food was nice, I was alone but everybody was friendly. Safari could be bigger and better. Is a private reserve so. Beside that the tour was cool

“Safari(ish)” - The road trip to and from the destination is many hours, even with frequent stops, the trip was too long.
Since I have been on a real safari, I did not find this trip that rewarding, but for a novice, it might be interesting
The driver, Chris, was knowledgeable, affable, considerate and a very good driver as was our guide, Andre.
The accommodations and the staff at the lodge were quite good.
