Amazing cooking class experience! - We had the most amazing experience at Chez Barone for our cooking class with Ana! Ana and Julia made our day so memorable from the teaching to eating. Everything we ate and made was so delicious and the property filled with fresh and local ingredients made it even better! We had a lot of fun with our 10 person class and the pickup / drop off was a great added bonus. Would 100% recommend this experience to anyone looking for a cooking class in a unique setting while in Sorrento!

A Magical Experience - The entire tour from pick up to drop off was absolutely amazing! The owner and Chef and sous chef were incredible and we had a magical time at the property. We were able to be very hands on and the chef was very professional and personable! At the end we all enjoyed a delicious lunch that we had helped prepare! Highly recommend!

Excellent! WOW - Our family had an incredible cooking and eating experience. First, the space- the view from the cooking area is breathtaking! Glass walls enclose the culinary classroom where we learned how to make several dishes and then eat them. Anna and Claudia were amazing! Incredible instruction, fun and sweet. They managed our family’s varying levels of cooking skills with pleasant and professional approach. And the quality of the food was amazing. Highly, highly recommend!!

A Great Italian Cooking Experience - Chef Anna was very organized, entertaining and informative. We were greeted with Prosecco as the class began. We made bolognese sauce, fresh pizza and pasta dough, gnocchi and individual tiramisu. And yes the wine did continue. Our class was small and therefore we were all able to talk and get know to each other during the class. We left with an apron, certificate and quite full. I would highly recommend this class.

THE BEST EXPERIENCE IN SORRENTO - This experience was genuinely the highlight of our trip! We had so much fun learning to make the Italian foods and the lead chef Anna was amazing! She was funny and knowledgeable and very helpful too. The food we made was so incredibly tasty and the surroundings were also stunning. We were given some delicious wine to drink whilst we cooked and ate and the whole experience was just perfect!

Highlight of our vacation - There is a reason why this class is rated #1 in Sorrento. Visiting the hotel is a destination in and of itself. It overlooks the Bay of Naples with Vesuvio in the distance. Fabio the owner greeted us and gave us a tour of the grounds and escorted us to our cooking area. The long chef's table is situated in a glass enclosure with glass doors that open and allow a nice breeze. There is also a kitchen under about 10 feet from the glass enclosure with a stove, prep counter, pizza oven, etc. To enjoy the view, the breeze and the delicious smells was such a treat. We sipped prosecco, then wine & snacked on bread bits with olive oil, rosemary & oregano. Then, we got to cook! Anna guided us through every step & she is such just wonderful. She is patient, precise, encouraging and funny. We also met Julia whom we talked to some, but didn't interact with her as much because we were a smaller group than that which they are used to. She was also a sweet person. We made & rolled out tagliatelle noodles. We prepared the Bolognese sauce to go on top. Also, we made pizza & were permitted to sample the olive oil with it which is produced onsite (my favorite was the truffle oil!) I especially enjoyed making the gnocchi. (Apologies, it was very delicious and I forgot to take a photo!) And finally, the tiramisu was the best I had on our entire vacation! Of course, we finished the meal with limoncello - and it was such a treat, because it was made on site! Anna walked us through the steps to make that, too. The olive oil, wine and some of the tools we used were reasonably priced and available for sale. I left with a bottle of prosecco, a couple of olive oils, a limoncello & gnocchi board. (Tip: if you have this class books toward the end of your vacation plan to get your souvenirs HERE...we had all bought these sorts of gifts and agreed we would return them if we could and just gift the Chez Barone items!) Best part of our trip. Don't hesitate, if there are spots open during your trip grab them now!
