All of Tamara's tours are 5 star - What a fantastic experience we had exploring Sorrento with Sorrento Food Tours. Tamara is incredibly knowledgeable and so friendly. My companion and I went on two tours with her, the daytime food tour and the evening wine tour stroll. She also booked our Capri boat excursion which turned to out be a great day and fun crew.
The daytime food tour was so much fun, we learned loads about the local delicacies and the food culture specific to the area. Included in this is a trip into a lemongrove which was breathtaking.
Being wine enthusiasts and not too familiar with the local wine varietals the sunset wine stroll was an excellent introduction - what a selection of wines we got to try and again the food delicious. We explored other foodie shops where we returned for treats to take home. We would definitely book this these again. Tamara said she can arrange for other tasting tours as well so book directly with her at Sorrento Food Tours not through TripAdvisor Thank you!

Sunset Food and wine tour - What a super introduction to some of the culinary delights of the region.
Tamara our guide was most informative, extremely pleasant and knowledgeable.
A must tour for those interested in learning about food, wines, beers and Tamara was kind enough to recommend some super local restaurants. Those we managed to try were fabulous.
Tamara also assisted in booking a boat tour for us. So easy when you have faith in the person you are dealing with. Communication was top notch.
Thanks again for everything....defo will recommend to each and everyone visiting this gorgeous destination.

Delicious Way to See Sorrento + Top Notch Tour Guide - My family and I were in Italy for 2 weeks on a vacation and took a Med. cruise mid-way through. While we didn't want to do an excursion every day of our cruise since that can get tiring, but we knew for sure that we wanted to take a food tour in Sorrento given the rich agricultural traditions of the region and the fantastic reviews we read about Sorrento Food Tours.
Tamara, the tour guide and owner, was absolutely amazing and a delight to work with in helping to organize our experience. She ensured my family and I had detailed directions for where to meet the tour and went absolutely above and beyond to make arrangements with a private tour guide to take us on a tour of Pompeii ruins after the food tour was finished (something my Mum really wanted to do).
The tour itself was outstanding: lots of delicious tastings- from traditional Italian breakfast pastry (scrumptious!!) to regional prosciutto, to arancini street food, to a variety of tastings featuring Sorrento's famous lemon groves (including of course, limoncello), the food is plentiful and varied. The highlight for me was the sit-down meal at towards the end, which features a beautiful buffalo mozzarella salad and a very generous portion of Gnoochi Sorrento with wine - a true treat. To end the tour, we (of course) enjoyed artisan gelato as the perfect conclusion.
The tour covers both the commercial area of Sorrento and the old city centre and you encounter some terrific views of the seaside along the way. The vendors are friendly and welcoming and there are many small shops worth popping back into after the tour to pick up lemon-based souvenirs and other treats.
The walking on this tour is very reasonable and doesn't involve any major hills or difficult areas. It's a good idea to bring water along with you and it can be warm of course in the summer, so a hat and sunscreen are a good call. However, you'll have two opportunities to sit down (once earlier on and again at the penultimate stop) in the shade to catch yourself and enjoy a glass of still or sparkling water.
For cruisers, this tour is very easy to access. Once you arrive in Sorrento Port, you simply take the only road into the city centre (up the cliff) which takes about 7 minutes (though free ship shuttles are offered too) and the starting point is directly to your left. Likewise, the ending point is conveniently located near the port as well so there is never any concern about being too far away from the ship or getting lost.
It's important to note that while I am a big food tour fan, several members of my family are not necessarily big foodies but they still thoroughly enjoyed the experience with Tamara - learning a lot and enjoying the walk through the city. Tamara knows her stuff and has placed considerable time and energy into creating a special experience for curious Sorrento visitors.
Don't miss this unique experience and whether you have only a single day in port or, if you're luckier, several days to spend in this beautiful seaside city, your time in Sorrento will not be complete unless you treat yourself to this foodie adventure.
Thanks Tamara!! Next time, we'll have to spend more time in the city so we can experience your wine tour as well:)

Small group food walking tour with Tamara - We met just off Piazza Tasso and Tamara got us to introduce ourselves. This was a great way to break the ice while we enjoyed a sfogliatella before moving on to various establishments, tasting arancini, saltimbocca, limoncello and some other liqueurs I. The lemon garden in the heart of Sorrento. Further delights included lemon baba, sorbet, various meats, artisan beer and then lunch!!!
Lunch in Da Gigino was a delicious salad followed by gnocchi sorrentino, accompanied by water and wine. We then moved on for ice cream.
All through the tour Tamara showed the sights of Sorrento and told us of the history. A wonderful tour and highly recommended.

Amazing , Amazing , Amazing - No words are enough for how amazing the tours are!! We done The Walking Food Tour, Amalfi coast tour and The Wine Stroll ; each were equally wonderful!!
Tamara is very knowledgeable and takes time to explain everything about the culture of Sorrento and it's wonderful food!
Our driver on the coast tour was P.G , who was equally excellent and made our day trip really fun!!
All the local spots we stopped for wine and food were fantastic- we tasted the best that we've ever had and cannot wait to explore more of Italy. Our first time doing this type of tour and I know wouldn't visit a city without doing one.
Thank you Tamara!!

The Essence of Sorrento's Food Scene - Limoncello, Confetti, Arancini, gelato, pizza, pastries, house made wine & beer and so much - I can't fault a thing! Firstly the guide's name was Tamara & my name is Tamara so straight up this tour was being guided by a legend!
But on a more serious side, this tour had everything. Tamara was insightful, funny & inclusive of a diverse group of people & the content of the tour was interesting and engaging.
My daughter has Crohn's Disease and as such has dietary requirements & energy issues which makes doing these things not the most fun for her but Tamara catered to her needs beautifully so she was able to eat almost everything or was given an equal alternative. I can't say how grateful and happy I was to see my girl enjoy this kind of outing.
This is a slow stroll through the gorgeous streets of Sorrento where you stop every few metres to try some thing new. The tastes of things lasted just long enough to reach the next venue and lunch was exactly the thing you needed to then go and enjoy Siesta.
Will recommend & would do again if the opportunity arose.

Sunset Wine Stroll- informative and lots of fun! - We went on the new tour, Sorrento Sunset Wine Stroll where each location had a food and wine pairing and one with craft Italian beers. Current art exhibits on display and places we wouldn’t have discovered ourselves. The itinerary was great, lots of food and wine! Excellent buffalo ragu pasta, chocolates and truffle sauce tastings and many more. The bonus was learning about the wines and what to pair with them.

Excellent and informative food tour with Tamara - We very much enjoyed the pace and range of Sorrento foods which were part if this tour. It familiarised us with the history and breadth of local cuisines as well as ntroducing us to family run restaurants in the town. We returned to some of these and were not disappointed. Tamara is an excellent guide and we Went on to take her equally wonderful wine tasting event at El Buca. Highly recommended also.

Evening Wine and food tasting - Four of us went on the Sunday evening wine tasting tour, this was our third different tour with Sorrento food tours and we were not disappointed. Our guide Tamara was excellent taking to places that we would would not have thought to try. Great wines with a good selection of meats cheeses and pastas to try as we strolled through the Sunday evening sunshine. Super tour and good value for money
