Great time on the Sorrento food tour - My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the the Sorrento Limon cello and food tour. Our guide Tamara was knowledgeable and passionate about the local food provided for us on this tour. The food and drink was plentiful and delicious. Tamara also made sure to take pictures of the couples on the tour

Entirely worth it - Tamara was an absolute gem. She brings you to spots that are great and not tourist traps. We did the 10:30am start and you won’t have to worry about being hungry until dinner. Everything was first class, couldn’t suggest this enough.

Get to know Sorrento through food - The first thing we do every time we go to a new city is a food tour. Helps us get a bit of history, geography and fabulous food finds and recommendations. Tamara took us for amazing pizza, gnocchi, limoncello, gelato, you name it. No one left hungry. If you want to start to get to know Sorrento, do this food tour. It doesn’t disappoint.

Rainy day fun - Despite the poor weather, Tamara made this such a fun experience. She was so knowledgeable about all the shops and gave us great tips along the way of other places to stop in for various local treats and treasures. The shopkeepers all seemed to love her - it’s clear she’s built great relationships across the local community. We try to do a food tour in every new city we visit and this one certainly didn’t disappoint. We’ll be back for more Saltimbocca for sure!

Great Food Experience in Sorrento - We had a well-organized and fun experience tasting appetizers, sitting down at a trattoria for salad and pasta, and sampling several treats-ending with delicious gelato. Our guide, Tamara, was great, and all the food stops were prepared for us. Definitely recommend this tour for an overview of the Sorrento food scene.

Disappointing. Not private group as expected. Not welcoming tour guide - Tour guide did not have any audio device yet expected our group of 12 (plus added 3) to follow closely to hear her. She would make you know if you weren’t listening and happen to ask her to repeat the information. I am the host who booked a private group of 12. To our surprise, there were 3 strangers added to our group. They were very nice people and didn’t mind but that wasn’t what our private group (friends expected). My surprise looked must have given away, Tamara looked at me and said “is there a problem”?that was at the meeting point. From that moment, I was not feeling the warmth and felt disconnected through the whole tour. I have done many food tours in Athens, Barcelona, Switzerland… all were very nice and the food and drink stops were amazing. This tour in Sorrento is my least favorite, the last meal was a blend gnocchi and a glass of wine. This was supposed to be a food and wine tour. We had wine once to my recollection. It was not worth our time and money for value received. Not sure if our tour guide had a long day but felt like she didn’t want to be there when she was rolling her eyes a few times. My group would have made the same comments if you are to ask them individually. We paid over $1400 for this tour and will not do it again nor would I recommend to anyone. For that price, we could have had few bottles of wine and a good meal with our friends. I do not like to leave such a negative review but this was OUR experience.
