This Family is Amazing. - There was four of us and we read the reviews to many cooking classes. This one just stuck out to me so we booked it. It was one of the best days we had in Italy. The family took us in like we were part of their family. Giovanni was the cook that day with his grandma and we laughed for hours yes we also cooked but they were just amazing people. We made pasta we make dessert we had shots of lemoncello we drank wine we laughed some more. Then the boss showed up Martina. Giovanni warned us about her, LOL actually just her driving skills. We hung out looking over the mountains with Both siblings and laughed some more . We had the time of our lives that day. From the dad picking us up to Gio and grandma teaching us how to cook to Martina doing shots with us. We loved it. Don’t miss this class just sign up and go enjoy my new family. They are the nicest people. And we learned how to make tiramisu. Just don’t soak the cookies too long Gio will not be happy.

10 out of 10 - The private cooking class was a wonderful experience, we loved it! We made two different pastas/sauces and two variations of tiramisu which we shared between the two of us. Every dish was amazing!

For a truly authentic experience- book this class!! - If an authentic Italian experience is what you’re after do not hesitate to book a class with DeA in Cucina! This was hands down the best experience my husband and I have had while traveling. Cooking with a family in their 4th generation-owned kitchen, picking lemons from their expansive hilltop orchard and then sharing the fruits of our labor over homemade wine and a view only of dreams. Martina, Gennaro and of course Nonna were warm, welcoming and treated us like family during our private cooking experience. Almost all of our ingredients were sourced right from their land and the tips and tricks to replicate this at home were so helpful. As cliche as it sounds, we left with very full bellies and even fuller hearts. Thank you for sharing your home with us DeA in Cucina!!

Amazing experience - We had an absolutely amazing time with Gennaro and his beautiful grandmother who welcomed us in their home like family and made this an experience to remember. The house deserves a special shout-out for the exceptional views, picturesque garden and incredible atmosphere of history and warmth. All the ingredients for our cooking class were home made by Gennaro and his family and beyond words delicious. Nothing beats Italian food - except Italian hospitality. Thank you, Gennaro!

Magical, Scenic and Delicious - This was a wonderful experience. Martina picked us up at the meeting point and drove us to her family home through an ancient Roman Road. We arrived at her 400 year old picturesque family home and farm. Once in we were greeted by her Garndmother who helped Martina . She offered different choices of pasta to make .We choose Ravioli with a zucchini carabonara souce . We had a antipasto of fresh mozzarella from thier cow “ Maria” Dessert was Tiramisu which we also made . All her recipes were from her family We ate in a dinning room which had a stunning view of Sorrento.. Just wonderful!! If you want to do a cooking class while in Sorrento , this is a personallized venue!!

Beautiful surroundings, excellent food, wonderful experience! - What a wonderful experience with Martina! We enjoyed making fresh pizza, pasta and dessert with her in her spectacular home. The view was amazing as we enjoyed our meals al fresco in her lovely gardens! Honestly, it looked like a postcard. If you have the chance to experience this, as a couple or with a small group, I highly recommend. And the food was fabulous!
