• Sorrento Coast - This serves as both our meeting point and the initial observation spot: a public viewpoint overlooking the Sorrento area, offering views of the hilly landscape, city rooftops, and the sea right in front of the coast. The trail begins here, maintaining the scenic qualities mentioned. Walk amidst olive groves, lemon groves, and some magnificent ancient carob trees.
• Piazza Tasso - The city’s main square conceals its illustrious past. With views of the valleys, we will uncover the original layout and piece together the history of the city’s ancient, now-destroyed walls.
• Basilica di Sant’Antonino - A charming legend connects Sorrento to the sea and names its protector: Sant’Antonino. Evidence of this is still visible on the basilica’s facade.
• Chiostro di San Francesco - One of the city’s ancient sites that remains untouched. This romantic medieval cloister is now an ideal venue for many social events. A brief visit here is essential.
• Marina Piccola - A descent to the sea marks the end of our itinerary. Marina Piccola and Marina Grande are the guardians of the city’s marine gateways, ancient landing sites, archaeology, captivating stories, and tales of piracy.
