- Porta Marina Seafood - Visitors will meet a licensed guide, and after purchasing tickets, the tour will commence. The guide will lead them through the ruins of this remarkable ancient town.
- Foro di Pompei - The Civil Forum is the heart of daily life in the city, serving as the center for all major public buildings related to city administration, justice, business management, trade activities like markets, and the main sites for citizen worship.
- Via dell’Abbondanza - Known as the Street of Abundance, this is the most prosperous street in Pompeii.
- Teatro Grande - The theatre district of Pompeii consists of three main buildings: the Large Theatre, the Odeon (small theatre), and the Quadriporticum. These served as the city’s entertainment and meeting hub.
- House of Menander (Casa del Menandro) - This is one of the most opulent and magnificent houses in ancient Pompeii, renowned for its architecture, decoration, and contents, covering an area of about 1,800 square meters (19,000 sq ft).
- Stabian Baths (Terme Stabiane) - A prime example of a Roman bathing complex in Pompeii, Italy, and the oldest and largest of the five public baths in the city.
- Lupanar - The Lupanar of Pompeii is the remains of a brothel in the Ancient Roman city of Pompeii, notable for the erotic paintings on its walls. Lupanar is Latin for “brothel.” The Pompeii lupanar is also known as Lupanare Grande or the “Purpose-Built Brothel.”
- Pompeii Antiquarium - The Antiquarium of Pompeii started as an exhibition space showcasing archaeological finds that illustrate the daily life of the ancient city. Visitors can view archaeological discoveries from the excavations, casts of the victims of the Mount Vesuvius eruption, and displays documenting Pompeii’s history before it became a thriving Roman city.
- Parco Acheologico di Ercolano - The Archaeological site of Herculaneum (in Italian: Scavi di Ercolano) is located south of the town center of modern Ercolano, where the Roman town of Herculaneum has been excavated. Herculaneum was destroyed and buried by lava and mud during the eruption of Mt. Vesuvius in AD 79, along with Pompeii, Stabiae, and Oplontis. In 1997, the Herculaneum site was designated a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Although Herculaneum was discovered before Pompeii, its excavation was challenging and often paused in favor of the easier excavation of Pompeii. Herculaneum is smaller and less famous than Pompeii but is better preserved due to the different volcanic materials that covered the town.
- Casa dell’Albergo - The ruins of a large house for the affluent.
- Casa del Tramezzo di Legno - The House of the Wooden Tramezzo was constructed in the pre-Roman era, around the 1st century BC. The house features a typical patrician facade ending with an oval cornice, with masonry seats at the base used by waiting clients before being received by the owner. Along the entrance walls, traces of stucco remain, on which frescoes were once painted, though they have faded over time. On the east side of the atrium is the tablinum: the two rooms are separated by a partition, a kind of folding door as tall as a man, made entirely of wood, charred by the eruption, with shaped doors and large bronze rings on which lamps were placed.
- Decumano Massimo - The main street.
- College of the Augustales (Herculaneum) - The College of the Augustals was constructed at the end of the first century B.C., likely around 14 B.C., during the Augustan period, as part of the area’s redevelopment. The building was commissioned and funded by two brothers, A. Lucius Proculus and A. Lucius Iulianus, who also hosted a banquet for both the Augustals and the decurions on the day of the inauguration, as noted in an inscription found on November 25, 1960, about two meters above the floor, now placed on a side wall of the College.
- Suburban Baths - A public bathhouse.
- Antiquarium di Ercolano - A museum featuring an impressive collection of objects found near the skeletons.

Herculaneum was definitely a surprising highlight - Our tour to both Herculaneum and Pompeii with Antonino was all that we could have hoped. Both sites are amazing and well worth a visit. Pompeii is huge. Antonino navigated the crowds here and took us to many interesting spots and for the most part we avoided a lot of the crowds. Highly recommend this tour.

Fantastic day learning about Herculaneum and Pompeii with Antonino. - We read the reviews for many of the tours and picked A Drive into the Blue and Antonino due to the many excellent reviews. Antonino was fantastic! He was very knowledgeable, very interesting, a good driver and a very nice man. He had so many insights and facts for both Herculaneum and Pompeii. He answered all our questions and really gave us so much information on what life was like for the people that lived in both places. It was highly educational and entertaining to spend the day with Antonino. We highly recommend this tour!

Viaggio nella storia entusiasmante...da ripetere!! - This was the first of our two experiences with A drive into the blue. (the second was the Amalfi Coast tour) .A very instructive and exciting journey into antiquity! Antonino guided us masterfully in his tour of the history of Pompeii and Herculaneum capturing our attention with his many anecdotes and insights. Great choice!History, civilization, archaeology and Neapolitan culture described in such detail, precise but at the same time empathetic. This Tour Guide has literally passionated us... maybe it will be the enthusiasm of the moment, I do not know, but we are already assuming for next year a visit to the temples and museum of Pestum but asking the agency expressly Antonino.
