Great experience lots of fun - The views were amazing we taken so many photos Raffaela and Lucio were the best people to show us around, they made it a whole lot of fun and they are great at what they do. I have already referred friends who are visiting Italy in the future.

Wonderful boat ride to Capri! - This boat tour was the highlight of our trip to Sorrento. Our captain, Massimo, was so entertaining and a great host. The day we went the water was way too rough to enter the blue grotto, but Massimo took us around to see other points of interest. We spent 3 hours on Capri and just opted to visit the beach club instead of taking a taxi around the island. After that we got back on the boat and were taken to a spot to swim. I absolutely loved swimming in the crystal clear blue water! I also loved that there were only 8 guests on the boat (as promised.) I recommend MBS as the experience was well organized and of course, we had the best captain!

Amazing time on Capri - Fantastic day out with Theodoro to Capri island. He was very knowledgeable and made sure we were always comfortable. Pointed out and told us a lot of the history of the grottos and the cliffs as we were boating to Capri. We had 3 hours on the island for lunch and exploring, then he took us to some great swimming spots. Overall a great day out, highly recommend.

Very short wait to enter the Blue Grotto with this tour company - Co-Captains (and brothers) Massimo and Sergio were great hosts. We saw all the sites and landmarks around Capri, stopped for a swim, had refreshments, and they let my daughter pilot the boat for a few minutes in open water. Massimo even treated us to Sinatra's "My Way" -he has a very good voice! Somehow they got us right into the Blue Grotto after only a 5 minute wait. I liked having a few hours to walk around Capri in the middle of the day. My family is not used to boats, and we all needed some Dramamine after stopping for pictures or a swim at some sites. If I were to do it again, and I had the extra money, I'd opt for the private boat tour just for the ability to say where and for how long we would stop.

Great Tour with Fun and Helpful Guide. - Our guide, Massimo was super friendly, entertaining and knowledgable. Although Blue Grotto was closed due to safety issues (tide and waves), Massimo took us to many other spectacular and interesting rock and cave formations, and let us swim in the ocean (provided masks and floatation devices). We had plenty of time to explore the isle of Capri. I would highly recommended this tour.

Luigi was great! Fun time! - We had a fabulous time. The only snack supplied was fresh melon and peaches. Some beer, a bottle of champagne, and water was supplied. We swam 2 times a different spots. Did not get to go into the grotto because of high tide. There was time in Anacapri for chair lift and lunch at the top.

Life changing experience!! - This tour is something I will remember for a lifetime! Our amazing tour guide Enrico offered us a highly entertaining experience. There’s lot to explore on the beautiful island of Capri and you’ll never see bluer water than that in the lagoon! I highly recommend this excursion to anyone visiting Sorrento!!

No Blue Grotto…! - We travelled from Rome to see the Blue Grotto. This tour had the best reviews for a small group. On the day we had to wait for 2 late arrivals and left approx 20mins after the last boat left. We were asked to move to front of the boat and then proceeded to travelled at high speed across to the island - very bumpy. We didn’t realise leaving late, obviously, meant last in the queue for Blue Grotto. Our guide, who was perfectly charming, said the longest wait record was 3hrs and so told us we would go afterwards and we went to the Piccolo Marine. Unfortunately on arrival due to boat rocking quite strongly my friend became ill. The crew off loaded us. Once on the island the crew caught up with us and advised we only had 2hrs on the island. Once back on the boat we went for a swim and then headed off around the island. The guide said we could skip the Grotto if everyone agreed, which seemed odd. Needless to say after a slow ride that included sightseeing pauses at a white & green grotto around the island the actual Blue Grotto boats had all left and the tide had risen. We were told it was due to heavy rains the night before - honestly!! There were no other boats there as clearly all gone in the morning.. We were only offered drinks on the way back, including Lemoncello which they advised they had supplied not the company. We weren’t offered fruit or snorkelling gear only noodles to swim with. The ride back was a lot slower/calmer. All in all we had a nice day out but the whole point was to see the Blue Grotto which we didn’t and nothing was said, just the excuse of the rains. On arrival back at Sorrento there was no one there as clearly also last back. In hindsight failed to understand why we all had to wait for 2 young people that had over slept and missed the Blue Grotto. If charm and clever diversionary comments had a value these guys would be rich. It’s a shame as they were great, informative, caring and really helped an elderly man with mobility issues but as to getting what we thought we had bought - missed by a mile.

Read this before booking! - We booked two tours originally. The first tour on Saturday was cancelled the day before, due to weather conditions - rightfully so. This tour went ahead which we were sceptical about due to the sea conditions. As soon as we exited the port we realised this was a bad decision. The waves were far too big. The boat going up and down throwing people in the air. Spray from the waves constantly soaking everyone. Unable to stand, all we could do was lay or sit and hold on. Then sea sickness kicked in! We went on the long journey to see the Blue Grotto which was a complete waste of time as the waves were so big you couldn’t even see the entrance of the cave! They could have advised us of this as I’m sure the entire boat would have accepted this to avoid the 30minute round trip in the high sea! The best bit was getting off at capri. Everyone was discussing taking the ferry back; which we did. What should have been a magical experience turned into a nightmare. Drinks on the boat and swimming in the beautiful sea, we couldn’t have been further from that. Hold on for dear life, getting soaked whilst wanting to throw up! There is no way that we should have been on this boat that day. Even the skipper agreed it was too rough. My advise is check conditions and demand a refund if too rough. Get a ferry, spend the day exploring capri with no time limit and swim in the sea by the marina and save yourself a few £. Note- we tried contacting the company as we didn’t want to write a negative review but they failed to reply.
