Memorable Amalfi Coast Tour - There were 8 adult friends that took this excursion from Sorrento to the Amalfi Coast. Enzo was our driver and guide and could not have been a better host. His attention to detail from temperature in the Mercedes Van to stopping for photo ops to lunch to his knowledge of the area made our trip memorable and one of the best parts of our trip to Italy. The Amalfi coast sells itself with spectacular views of the towns and the water but having a guide that could fill in the details was invaluable. The included lunch was a highlight as well. The restaurant at an overlook to the Mediterranean had the choice of either pasta or salad for lunch. It was a hot day but the overlook was pleasant and spectacular place to eat lunch. We had plenty of free time to explore the towns we stopped. A big thank you to Enzo for making this part of our visit to Italy very memorable!

Perfect Day - It was a wonderful day exploring the Almalfi Coast with Antony and a small group. Our guide, Antony, was fantastic. He was very outgoing, personable, knowledgeable, and friendly. All characteristics of a fantastic guide. We made stops along the way at fabulous view spots for photos. We had plenty of time to explore all three towns of Positano, Almalfi, and Ravello. Lunch was perfect with pasta and wine. It took the worry out of finding a place to eat and/or waiting for a table. We had the options to do a one hour boat ride in Almalfi which is highly recommended. It was a great way to see the beautiful coastline from the water. This tour has definitely been a highlight of our trip. Highly recommend this tour and if you are lucky enough to get Antony, you will have a great day!

This tour is an absolute ‘must’ when visiting the Amalfi Coast. - This was our second tour with Sorrento Maxi Tours and with the inimitable and irreplaceable EnZo. Never, ever, would we drive on the Amalfi coast, so it was a great pleasure to be able to enjoy the beauty of this part of the world whilst feeling safe and secure. Our perception and understanding of Amalfi was enlightened by EnZo’s knowledgeable commentary, so we ended the tour knowing much more about this amazing place. There were opportunities for photographs along the way too and there was ample time, in Positano, Amalfi and Ravello for exploring. Lunch in Ravello was most enjoyable, the restaurant affording the most spectacular views of Ravello. We returned to Sorrento through the mountains (listening to some much loved Italian ballads), which gave us another view of Vesuvius. It was a lovely, never-to-be-forgotten day, that we shall cherish forever. Thank you dear EnZo!

Enjoying the Amalfi Coast - Antonio is a delight. He has a wonderful agenda for the day. He explains the nuisances about each village and I have to say picked the best place for lunch! Not only was the food delicious, but the views of Ravello and the coast were spectacular. Perhaps the most important detail is that Antonio is a pro at navigating all of the roads and streets and other vehicles that share the road. You are in good hands with Antonio as your guide and driver for the day.

Family Sightseeing of Amalfi - We spent a very enjoyable day getting to see the Amalfi Coast with this small group tour. We are a family of 4, two adults two kids, and we were grouped with two other couples. Our tour guide was Nello and he was very funny, knowledgeable about the area and sights, as well as a very professional and skilled driver through the narrow roads. We had a fun time being guided with Nello. He pointed out important features along the way. He stopped the van a couple of times to allow for family pictures with picturesque backgrounds. He even surprised us with one of most memorable points of the day - the opportunity to take a boat for a water tour of Amalfi. Even though it was at an added cost, it was well worth it! Thank you for the tip Nello, including to take lots of video to preserve family memories. We opted for the tour that included lunch and we were pleased to have chosen this as it eliminated the stress of finding lunch within adequate time of getting back to the group. We enjoyed a delicious pasta lunch, nice wine, and a nice conversation with our tour mates with a beautiful view of Ravello. We only had one day available and this tour was an excellent way to see and experience the Amalfi Coast. We would definitely recommend.

Great Day - Great way to see the Amalfi coast! We were picked up on time from our hotel and got to our first stop in positano before the crowds driven by Nello a local with great knowledge of the area and a wicked sense of humour. Next was Amalfi and we were again given enough time to look around before a lovely lunch set in a local restaurant with great views of the coast. Ravello was our last stop before the drive home. We also had a boat trip arranged by Nello that was an extra 20 euros but we'll worth it, this is not guaranteed as I think it's weather dependent. All in all I highly recommend this trip and an excellent way of exploring the area with a expert guide in a small group. Grazie mille.

Amalfi tour - The whole tour was great, Amalfi needs to be done by road and sea to really appreciate how beautiful it is.

Guides and Boat Tour Amazing. Capri, not so much - The boat was beautiful, the boat ride couldn’t have been better. Lorenzo and Pepe were amazing! There were friendly, Knowledgable and loved what they were doing. We could’ve stayed on the boat with them all day! Capri, was beautiful, but the island was a giant tourist trap and was very expensive. LOTS of people, buses and commotion.

Take a boat trip instead of car in this heat - We loved the lunch spot near Ravello. It was a fantastic view and delicious food and wine. The van was packed with 8 people and a driver and the air conditioning did not work properly so it was uncomfortable at times. I also would not try and pack in Positano, Amalfi, and Ravello in one day trip as you didn't get time to really enjoy each place.

Poor management!! - The tour started well, however, it was a very hot day and Antonio decided to rotate the passengers because of the poor air conditioning system in the vehicle. There were 9 of us and with 30 degrees plus the 'rotation' did not take place until the last 30 minutes of the tour. It seemed that the 2 passengers in the front were more interesting and did not carry this out My wife, and several other ladies, were really struggling with the lack of air con in a clearly aging vehicle, so much so, that my wife really struggled, despite being a really fit 70 year old. It was inconsiderate for him to be allowed to.be completely influenced by the two passengers in the front seats, whoem he was not prepared to insist on rotating around the vehicle. Tour = 9 Driving = 8 Management of the passenger comfort = 2. Would never book again.
