The first stop is the charming town of Sobotka, rich in Czech traditional character and allure. Stroll along the cobblestone streets, admire the 300-year-old houses and medieval architecture. Be amazed and invigorated for the rest of the Bohemian Paradise tour. Just a 10-minute walk from Sobotka’s town center is the impressive Humprecht Castle, built in 1668, overlooking the picturesque surroundings. Walk through the beautiful alley towards the castle and take in the stunning views. Depending on the season and day, a special tour inside the castle may be available. • Pekařova brána - On the way to the next destination, pass by and climb (an easy climb) a rock that towers over a car road… an amazing experience.
• Hrad Kost - The next stop in Paradise is Kost Castle, where a traditional Czech lunch and a drink can be enjoyed while overlooking the castle’s beauty. Before this, enjoy a walk through the lush surroundings of ancient rocks, hills, and a swan lake. Depending on the season, a tour inside the castle may be possible. Walking around the castle and admiring the rocks that are millions of years old is a unique experience.
• Prachov Rocks - The most renowned part of the Bohemian Paradise is undoubtedly the Prachovské skály, a haven for climbers. This rock town is located 7 km northwest of Jičín. Choose from several sightseeing routes. The heavily dissected plateau was formed from Mesozoic deposits of sandstones, mudstones, and marls. There are three walking routes to choose from, with the shortest being 1.5 km and the longest 3.5 km.
