Enjoy the unique opportunity to pilot a Hang Glider, taking off from the Tijuca Forest National Park, encircled by the exotic flora of the Atlantic Forest, with singular views of the Atlantic ocean and various famed landmarks of Rio, such as Rocinha, Sugar Loaf, and Christ the Redeemer. The flight culminates in a gentle landing on the pristine sands of the stunning São Conrado beach.
- For products in which Hotel transfers aren’t included but can be arranged, cost varies by location, please contact us after booking if you would like to request the service.
- A maximum of 8 people per booking
- If you plan taking the 360° camera option, it’s recommended to install the “insta 360” app from the App store/Play Store before you come, this will help expediting imagery transfer times after your flight.
- Pictures and videos are usually downloaded to your phone so please make sure to have at least 3GB available for the standard imagery and another 7GB if you’re planning on taking the 360° camera option.
- For safety reasons and aircraft capacity persons of or above 100kg/220lb can’t be accepted for Hang Gliding, but paragliding might still be an alternative. On certain days, depending on wind and weather or mobility restrictions, even persons slightly below mentioned weight might be redirected to Paragliding for their own safety.

Absolutely wonderful. I enjoyed it more than skydiving or bungee jumping .Not a huge adrenaline rush, just freedom & joy - It was delayed one day due to weather, but the next day was perfect. Pick me up at the hotel. I filled out the info they needed drove to the top and I was sailing through the air in roughly 1 hour from being picked up. An amazing experience. Very professional and friendly and of course I bought the videos lol. That was the last thing to check off on my original bucket list and it was definitely worth doing.! Now… Onto my second bucket list

What an awesome experience, descending through the clouds and into the beautiful city of Rio. - What an amazing day, started out raining and low clouds. But thankfully, the wind, rain and clouds dissipated to make it an awesome experience. The guide (forgot his name), was the absolute best in making me feel comfortable. Would absolutely recommend to family and friends. A must do while in Rio de Janeiro.

Breathtaking - Hang gliding in Rio de Janeiro was truly an incredible experience! From start to finish, the entire experience was professional, safe, and absolutely breathtaking. Manoel was friendly, highly experienced, and made me feel completely at ease—even though it was my first time flying.
Launching off the cliff with a view of the mountains and gliding over the stunning coastline and iconic landmarks like Sugarloaf and Christ the Redeemer was surreal. The views were unbeatable, and the landing on the beach was smooth and exhilarating.
If you're visiting Rio and looking for something unforgettable, I can't recommend this enough. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime experience that I’ll be talking about for years!

Great Experience but Hidden Fees - While I greatly enjoyed the experience, I was disappointed and a little ticked off to find out that I still had to pay more for the experience beyond the $230 I spent here. I had to pay for the club fees, which in all honesty should have been advertised as an extra cost and added to the total here. The real cost is around $260.

Very good time - Nice. $15 insurance add on and $15 vid add on at the end for "side cam"... no test run, but was safe, beautiful and fun. I would do it again with them I just wish everything was paid when I booked.

I had a good first paragliding experience! - It was a good experience, the coach was very helpful. The videos were great. The flight duration was a bit short but everything was ok.

I wouldn’t recommend this tour. - All flights went well, but Very disappointed with the communication experience. The provider messaged us just a day before to change the pick-up time to 8:00 AM, with no prior notice. We were also told last minute that insurance would cost nearly $20 USD per person, despite the listing saying $15 USD. They don’t accept USD cash, only Brazilian Real or card , card with a 10% card fee none of which was disclosed until I asked repeatedly.
Two of our group were forced into paragliding, even though they were within the weight limit for the activity they booked.
We paid over $1,000 USD for six people, communication needs big improvement.
