Not close to tourist areas - When you go in the main entrance by McD go left. Go up the first set of escalators to the 2nd floor, turn left and the theater will be on your right. It's towards the center of the mall. The "box office" is the book store/gift shop across from the concessions. The theater is essentially the size of a movie theater. There isn't any food or beverage service in the theater, nor is there much legroom. I went on a Saturday night and it was half empty. It was pretty far from Copacabana, and there was surge pricing for Uber, so keep that in mind. The show lasted about 1.5 hours. It isn't just a "samba" show per se, there are several different types of dance, and a little singing too. The performers were energetic and tried to promote crowd engagement. After the show I had two Uber drivers cancel before I got a ride, so be mindful of that, especially if you are alone.

to do for dance - Located in the teatro Fashion Mall 40 minutes from copacabana by taxi or brl 50.- A fiery show with dancers. We see dances from the regions of Brazil and finished with samba de rio. Very good, scene close to the audience, room a little old and seat not too comfortable. Nevertheless deserves the detour
