- Sơn Trà Mountain - Dive into the captivating realm of our most endangered primates, away from the usual tourist paths. This easy, 3-hour adventure takes you along winding mountain roads and picturesque landscapes, leading to hidden areas known only to the Red-Shanked Douc Langurs, also known as Rare Monkeys.
From observing lively offspring during the breeding season (March to July) to spotting adults or the alpha male, or simply enjoying the sight of monkeys in their natural habitat, participants will learn to distinguish between males and females, determine their age, and engage in real-time research by assisting in data collection on the monkeys encountered. Along the way, a variety of forest creatures such as birds, colorful butterflies, plants, and occasionally mongoose will be encountered.
During the journey, there will be opportunities to converse with local animal photographers, gaining insights and viewing their stunning photos for a deeper understanding of the monkeys.
In addition to discovering rare animals, there is also the chance to witness the breathtaking hidden scenery of Monkey Mountain, including secret beaches, all of which combine to make the trip full of surprises.
