Return by bus or upgrade to include the Kuranda Scenic Train. A stop at Palm Cove for half an hour allows you to enjoy a cocktail or drink (at your own expense) while admiring the beautiful beach, before returning to your hotel in Port Douglas.

Departing from either Port Douglas or Palm Cove (not Cairns), guests can enjoy a small-group Kuranda day tour, limited to 20 participants for a more personal and engaging experience. Travel on the historic Kuranda Scenic Railway, which winds through lush rainforest to reach Kuranda. Upon arrival, guests are met in Kuranda and transferred to the village, where a guide will introduce them to the famous markets and vibrant arts scene. After two hours of exploration, guests are picked up in Kuranda and assisted in boarding the award-winning Skyrail Rainforest Cableway for breathtaking views. The day concludes with a stop in Palm Cove for a relaxing drink (at guests’ own expense) before returning to Port Douglas between 5:30 and 6:30 pm.
