- Unirea Salt Mine - Slanic Prahova Saline is the largest salt mine in Europe. Now the old mine is currently open to the general public, being used as a leisure place. Slănic Prahova Saline is located at a depth of 208m, on an area of 53,000sqm and was opened for visit after 1970. The saline consists of 14 rooms, in the form of a trapeze, having an opening at the base of 32 meters, the tray, 10 meters and a height of 45 meters. The excavated space is 2.9 million cubic meters of salt. Underground is also a sanatorium for asthmatic patients who are provided specialized medical care. The ventilation of the mine is natural, with a constant temperature throughout the year of 12 degrees Celsius.

The small church, originally part of a monastery, dates since the medieval centuries when local princes endowed, strengthened, and enlarged it in their effort of supporting the Orthodox Church.

Explore the Slanic Prahova salt mine, the largest in Europe, and connect with the legend of Dracula at Snagov Monastery, home to the island grave site of real-life prince Vlad Dracul. In between these historic destinations, sample Romanian wine and delicacies at a hand-picked country wine cellar.
- Please note the temperature in the Salt Mine is around 12 degrees Celsius (53 Fahrenheit), so please consider bringing some warm cloth with you, even in summer
- The entrance to the depths of the mine will be done with a mini-bus, it will take about 15 minutes and there will be 20 people in the minibus
- If you are interested in wine tasting you must inform us 24 hours before the tour to bring a smelier. The tasting price is additional and starts from 140€, depending on the age of the wine and the number of people.

Perfect day - Knowledgeable tour guide, told us a lot of fun facts and funny stories. Loved every place we visited. He even stopped to show us magnificent views on the way. I would recommend him to anyone and I would definitely choose him for other tours.

Lovely day - Lovely day. We met Alin and together we visited the Salt Mine, Snagov Monestery and the Winery. Alin was a great tour guide, very knowledgeable, patient and who made us feel welcome to a lively and wonderful country. Money spent wisely :)

Great experience! - A great experience. We booked a private tour and it was the best decision. We left Bucharest behind and visited the Salt Mine, salted and cold :), the Winery, a happy place :) and the Snagov Monastery, a holly place. All because we had a great and very knowledgeable tour guide. He was funny, patient and took very good care of us. Worth the trip and time spent.

Amazing! - The salt mine walls are truly amazing and worth it. A mystical experience for me, mixed with resemblance of fantasy movies. Our guide Alin was super nice and kind. The kindest person I met in all my Romanian trips.
