Something a little different and recommended to do in Mallorca - Arrived in Mallorca for a 4 day break with my husband and two 10 year old boys. What a lovely afternoon we had at Can Det Soller. What an amazing family business steeped in so much history and culture. The whole family really enjoyed the guided tour and the tasting of so many local products. We were all made to feel so welcome. What a super way to spend a few hours in a beautiful town surrounded by an amazing scenic landscape and only a ten minute walk to Soller town centre. Thank you to Tomeu and our wonderful female guide (sorry your name has slipped my mind).

Lovely noon time break - We had a lovely and informative tour. It was wonderful to understand the traditional process for cultivating and pressing olive oil (although we were not there at a time when it was running). The host was informative and approachable. Thank you!

Very informative, tasting exceeded our expectations - We thoroughly enjoyed learning how the family has preserved the traditional way to produce olive oil. Our guide both entertained and informed us. He generously shared his family house with our group and explained the history and present day operation of the factory (we visited off-season, so the factory was not active during the tour). The tour exceeded our expectations, especially the tasting experience which included their olive oil and orange marmalade as well as bread, meats, cheese, tomato, desserts, fresh-squeezed orange juice, and homemade wine. A short stroll from the city center, it was well worth the visit.

Tour and Tasting - Beautiful house and gardens and great to see the olive mill. Tomeu was very interesting and informative about his family business and we loved learning about the traditional processes still used today. The tasting lunch was delicious, all so fresh and the olive oil and olives so tasty! Would highly recommend.

Informative and tasty! - Tomeu was very hospitable and we learned about both the orange growing and olive oil production. The house and history is interesting in itself. We had a lovely light lunch to sample the products and bought some home pressed oil to bring home. Very enjoyable visit!
