Interesting and educational experience with great views - This was a lovely cruise. Live commentary made this an interesting and educational experience, while providing some breath-taking views of the island. A ticket cost €20, but allowed me to choose which time I wanted to depart, which was a nice flexibility to have. Tours depart from Sliema Ferries three times a day and the tour takes around 90 minutes. I can definitely recommend this as a nice activity to do.

Great Experience - If you’re visiting Malta, a boat tour is an absolute must-do experience. The island’s stunning coastline, crystal-clear turquoise waters, and hidden sea caves make for a breathtaking journey. Many tours start from Sliema or Valletta and offer full-day or half-day options. You’ll likely pass by iconic spots like the Blue Lagoon in Comino, the Azure Window ruins in Gozo, and dramatic cliffs and rock formations. The water is perfect for swimming and snorkeling, and many tours provide equipment. The guides are usually friendly, knowledgeable, and offer interesting insights into Malta’s rich history. Sunset cruises are also magical, offering a romantic view of the islands drenched in golden light. Whether you’re into relaxing, photography, or exploring, this tour gives you a unique perspective on Malta’s beauty. Just make sure to wear sunscreen and bring a hat!

Love Malta!!! - Stayed at Sliema, rather than in Valletta. It was stunning every day. Great restaurants along the esplanade, especially Ta Karolina and the Sports Club. Diplomat Hotel serves a decent cappuccino! We caught the local bus to Valletta. Valletta is lovely to wander around. Enjoyed our visit to The Pub. Harbour Cruise was informative and enjoyable. The Maltese Experience was excellent; recommend doing this first to get an overview of the history of the island before embarking on sightseeing. Mdina is a must see. Everything about Malta is worthwhile. Only negative - we found the Hop on Off City Sightseeing bus lacking. Very crowded, not punctual, run hourly, but if no one alights, then you have to wait another hour in the hope of getting a seat. Commentary ports were broken on several buses. If going again, I would plan where I want to visit (the lsland is quite large), go to Valletta bus terminus to find the route number and timetable of the local buses I needed to catch to those venues. Bolt taxis were easy to use with the app and quite economical to use.
