- Millennium Cross - First, we will visit the nearby Vodno mountain and the Millennium Cross on the top. We will use the cable car to the Millennium Cross. (except Mondays and the last Thursday of the month when the cable car is serviced). approx. 60 minutes

- Vrelo Cave - During our visit to the Canyon Matka, there is an opportunity to visit the Vrelo cave. The trip is organized by small boats.

A fantastic guided tour - We had a fantastic day with Miha and Olga. The trip was well planned, but relaxed and the landscape and monuments were beautiful. What made the trip really stand out was the experience created by our hosts. It was like old friends showing us around their home. We learnt so much about North Macedonia and it's culture. I'd highly recommend taking a day out of your itenery for this tour

Had a wonderful time! - Loved our day trip with Misha!!!! The canyon is breathtaking—worth to visit if you are visiting Skopje. Make sure you take a boat in the canyon and go into the cave—very beautiful. Misha had some Macedonian Wine for us and now I’m totally obsessed with it! 👍

Recommend this tour for a nice experience. - We were four couples who participated in the Makta Canyon tour, and we are all very pleased with the experience. The trip was well organized and we were greeted by friendly and knowledgeable guides who made sure we felt well taken care of all the time. Highly recommended.

Matka with Micha! - A more Private tour with a tour guide who truly loves his country, people and his job. The visited areas were beautiful, especially Matla canyon.

Wonderful tour of Matka Canyon and Vodno mountain - Miha provided a very high energy, informative and fun visit to the Canyon, the Millennium Cross and the beautiful Saint Panteleimon church. The boat trip and visit to Vrelo cave were a real highlight. It was so nice to have lunch with some Macedonian wine overlooking the canyon. I highly recommend doing this tour with Canyonmatkatour.com as Miha goes out of his way to ensure his guests get the most out of the day. Also, he was very flexible with pick up and drop off and dropped me with my bag to the airport shuttle bus stop after the tour which was much appreciated.

Flexible and Easy Going Exploring Day - I came on this excursion as a solo traveler and it was so fun to spend the day with like minded people. The trip was a perfect balance of learning about the history of Northern Macedonia and also just enjoying ourselves seeing some of the city. Micah was the perfect guide with so much local knowledge to share and really truly cares about all his participants having a nice visit. The day is centered around the three main stops but he gives free time and has so much flexibility for us to make the day what we wanted eg. staying at lunch at little longer or staying at the top of Millennium Cross a bit longer. I can't wait to come back to Macedonia and I would recommend this tour to all of my friends :)

Amazing - I just got back from an incredible trip to Matka Canyon in Macedonia, and it was absolutely breathtaking! The crystal-clear waters, towering cliffs, and the peacefulness of the whole area make it a must-see for anyone visiting the region. Our guide was amazing—knowledgeable, friendly, and really brought the place to life with fascinating stories and local insights. I highly recommend it to everyone who loves nature and a little adventure. It’s like stepping into a hidden paradise, where the beauty of the earth speaks louder than words. You’ve got to see it to believe it!!!!!!
