A must-do tour! Ohrid is a Balkan paradise. - I give this tour my highest and warmest recommendations. Ohrid was absolutely magical—truly a hidden gem of the Balkans. Our guide, Bojana (or 'Bona' as she's called), was incredible. Having traveled quite a bit, I can easily say she’s in the top three guides I’ve ever had. She took care of us from start to finish and made sure everyone in the group felt seen. Definitely the highlight of my trip!

Beautiful lake, great guide - Beautiful experience. Our guide (she was in training) was so very kind and helpful. The lake itself was gorgeous, of course, and the information was nice to know. I had a great time!

Christian is the BEST tour guide in Macedonia He’s very Informative & Passionate - Christian our tour guide was very informative and knowledgeable with the history and arts of Macedonia. He has a passion for his country and it comes thru with this tour. My wife and I learned so much from him. After spending the day with him we feel like we’ve made a new friend. We would definitely highly recommend a tour with him.

Pleasant and fun tour! - Pleasant and fun tour with very likable guides! The historical sites and nature were beautiful and rich with history, and our guides were very knowledgeable and gave us plenty of time to explore the area and have dinner. There’s a lot of interesting things about Ohrid I never knew, from its churches to its ancient lake to even its pearls I saw everything I was curious about. I took this trip in November and the light seasonal rain made for a beautiful and dramatic environment to see Ohrid and its nature.

A non existent trip. - Be aware. I contacted through Viator the tour company the day before, as soon as I arrived to Skopje, and I was told that there was no tour planned for the next day, that they would refund my money, or that I could take the tour the next day. I explained that I had only two days in the country and the next day I had a tour to Kosovo. After a lot of stress and giving up my perfect Kosovo trip with another company, I went to Kosovo with them that day and to Ohrid the next. But the Kosovo trip that company had was awful, and I didn’t see Prizren. Not a situation I would like to be in ever again.
