National Ohrid Museum - Robevci House - Housed in the distinctive white Robev family home, this museum is a notable landmark in the old town.
Plaoshnik - Situated atop a hill beneath Samoil’s fortress, this archaeological site features the Church of St. Panteleimon, built by St. Clement in honor of the patron saint of healers.
Tsar Samuel’s Fortress - This stone structure above the town is a symbol of Ohrid and one of its best-preserved historical monuments. Legends say Tsar Samuil himself watches over and protects the town.
St. Jovan Kaneo - The church of St. John the Theologian, perched on a solitary cliff in Kaneo, is the most photographed spot in Ohrid, offering a stunning view of the lake.
Bay of the Bones Museum - This museum is a reconstruction of a prehistoric lakeside village. Under the clear waters, remains of 6000 wooden piles and numerous animal bones were discovered. It is believed that a new set of wooden piles was added for each new village resident.

On this excursion, we’ll explore this gem of the Balkans, also known as Jerusalem of the Balkans, and take in the stunning sights along the banks of Lake Ohrid. Accompanied by an informative local guide, you will spend a delightful day hearing fascinating local lore and visiting the remarkable Museum on Water - Bay of Bones. Take a moment to explore the lovely beach in the St. Naum neighborhood and embark on a brief boat journey through the pristine waters of Drim Springs. In the evening, savor a delectable dinner at a lakeside eatery, trying out the region’s specialty: trout. Our next day is earmarked for a trip to the Albanian capital, Tirana, where you will witness the co-existence of contrasting eras. Steeped in history, the city still showcases remnants of its communist past, while also portraying a flourishing modern Tirana, replete with up-to-date infrastructure and buildings.
