Journey through the White Pass into Canada and the Yukon Territory, where you’ll visit the Carcross Desert, Emerald Lake, and enjoy lunch at a dog mushing camp. The tour price includes lunch, a visit to the dog mushing camp, interaction with puppies, a petting farm, and a wildlife museum!
- PASSPORTS REQUIRED, or Valid Passport Card, or other approved documents, please contact Canadian Customs for additional information on these documents
- Please NOTE ALL 8 a.m. tours depart from your dock. Please arrive 15 minutes ahead of departure time. Don’t forget your Passports! 1030 Discovery Tour - departs from Yukon Heath’s Popcorn Emporium, located at 485 Broadway Avenue, Skagway, AK 99840 (see map below). Please plan to arrive at our office 30 minutes early.
- Children must be accompanied by an adult
- Two different lunches are available, either Chicken or Vegetarian, your tour guide/professional driver will inquire of your choice before tour departs
- US and Canadian Citizens: Must bring a government issued photo ID and proof of citizenship (US birth certificate or naturalization certificate) or a passport for re-entry to the United States. Children, ages 18 and under only require a birth certificate
- Non-US Citizens: Either a Passport, I-94, Multiple Entry Visa or Resident Alien Card is required for re-entry to the United States
- Operates in all weather conditions. Weather can vary greatly from one location to another, please dress in layers
- Specific tour stops can be modified based on road conditions and weather.

Meeting points are at our office located inside Yukon Heath's Popcorn Emporium at 216 Broadway, a 10-20 minute walk from the docks. Please check in at our office at least 30 minutes prior to your tour departure time with your PASSPORT which are required for all of our tours.

The highlight of our cruise excursions - This tour was the highlight of all of our shore excursions during our Alaska cruise. A smaller shuttle with only 10-12 people gave a very personal experience. Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly. We saw everything we hoped for including a curious grizzly bear on our way to the Yukon.

Best day ever with Tumbleweed - We had the best tour guide with Alaska 360 in Skagway. He went by the name, Tumbleweed. He was so personable, so eloquent and very knowledgeable. He made the trip to see the sled, dogs and mine for gold. Absolutely the most perfect day we have on our entire vacation.

Highlight of our vacation - Garett our tour guide was exceptional! Our tour was six hours and we didn’t want it to end. It was the highlight of our vacation. There were only 9 people on the tour and by the end we felt like family. Garett showed us some amazing sights. The views were breathtaking. We stopped at so many great spots to see the views and take pictures. We filled up our water bottles from Bridal Veil falls. The water was so cold and refreshing. What a treat.
Lunch was such a fun experience too. The food was delicious and the staff so friendly. The petting farm was great. The puppies especially were amazing. They were so excited to play with everyone.
When we got back on the bus Garett had bought us all a Canadian chocolate bar. So nice of him.
On the drive back we saw a bear and a bald eagle. Garett kept his eyes peeled for great sights like this for us, and stopped so we could take photos.
His stories of the gold rush were very informative and entertaining.
I highly recommend this company and tour. We’re definitely going to come back again.

Amazing tour guide! - So Rebecca made this trip! We had so much fun with her and she was so welcoming and felt like an old friend! She was so informative and gave us so many opportunities to see so many things! We loved the fall colors too Rebecca!!

Nice drive - Enjoyed their bus tour and the driver Chad was a joy. Unfortunatley you can’t control some passengers.
Weather wasn’t the best but the afternoon cleared enough to see some awesome views

Highlight of our Alaskan Cruise - One of the highlights of our Alaskan cruise, this tour was really good. The bus tour covered a lot of ground but offered many chances to stop and get a closer look at the scenery and stretch your legs. Raymond, our tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly - keeping us on track while letting us explore a little. A perfect day. A bit of a side story - my wife lost a head band that had sentimental value to us. I was able to reach Raymond and he found it on the bus and mailed it to us. A really good guy - while I’m sure the other guides are good, ask for him when you sign up for this tour.

Cracross Museum and the... - Cracross Museum and the ride through the White Summit. The guide, Rebecca was very humorous and knowledgeable. What I found unusual was the sign above the driver’s seat saying that the wages paid to the guide is based upon the generous tipping. We paid C$200 per person for the tour and it didn’t sound appropriate that the tour operator wouldn’t pay a decent compensation to the guide out of that fee.

Amazing Yukon - Amazing views the entire journey. Saw much more of the tormented valley than on any previous train excursion and the views and sites of the Yukon are not to be missed.
