Highly recommend! - Przemysław Adam was an absolutely fantastic guide! His professionalism really showed, but what impressed us most was his genuine passion for ice climbing and all the fascinating details he shared about the terrain. He was incredibly patient, taking the time to teach us different climbing techniques and show us various types of ice formations. The entire 7-hour adventure flew by - we were having such a blast that we barely noticed the time. Highly recommend!

Ice climbing through Icelandia - As a family, we participated in the ice climbing adventure through Icelandia. For reference, none of us are extreme athletes, but we are all capable of doing 10+ mile hikes. As it was our first time ice climbing, we were slightly nervous. However, the guide, Heini, was clearly experienced. When we first arrived, she helped us be fitted in ice climbing boots. Then, after a brief safety discussion, we took a short hike onto the glacier where she led us to a short crevice to practice. After she guided us through climbing horizontally and vertically, during which she gave us customized feedback. Once we were ready, we tackled larger walls and even a “sinkhole.” It was an incredible experience! If you are new to ice climbing, I would recommend this adventure option, and I especially would recommend going in the morning/earlier in order to go with a smaller group. Heini was very professional, and yet her relaxed and friendly attitude helped anxious climbers feel more confident.

Andrès the Amazing Glacier Tour Guide! - Andrès was a fantastic tour guide! We did the 4 hour glacier tour. The company was great with getting us set up 30 minutes in advance (making sure we had good enough footwear (my husband and I had great boots but opted for theirs because they were that much more waterproof), ice axes, helmets, and glacier crampons to be able to walk on the glacier. Andrès did a great job at making sure we were all safe and prepared before advancing onto the glacier (and helping us put our crampons on!) Andrès would make stops to talk and educate us about different areas of the glacier. He let us stop to drink glacier water, set up a rope with an ice anchor to look into the trenches, and we even repelled down into the ice to look at an ice cave! (Optional of course he didn’t force us to do anything we weren’t comfortable doing). In areas of the glacier that he wasn’t sure about, Andrès would always go first and then adjust the route accordingly with his ice axe to make sure we were safe! All-in-all, we would definitely recommend Andrès and this tour! It was well worth it and we feel we got to learn and experience a unique/major part of what makes Iceland so amazing! Thank you Andrès!

Unique adventure with Przemyslav: 100% recommended - We took the 4.5h hike with Przemyslav: 100% recommended! Unique experience on the glacier: we hiked with crampons higher on the glacier where most people don’t go, we got a taste of ice climbing, entered an ice cave, and learnt a lot about the living glacier. Our guide Przemyslav was amazing - lots of fun to be around but he also made us feel super safe (great combo!). He went the extra mile to make sure we have the best time: he built new paths, secured us with the rope, he even built a swing for us in the ice cave and encouraged us to try ice climbing since we showed interest. He knows a lot about the glacier and answered all our questions! We would definitely recommend this tour over the shorter easy hikes: You will walk higher up into the glacier in a smaller group (we were only 4), much much better! And if you can go with Przemyslav, you’ll have one of the best adventures of your life. Thank you!

Walk on the ice - Heini was our guide and she was excellent. Confident and knowledgeable about every aspect of glacier hiking. She put safety first and adjusted to the circumstances taking us to parts of the glacier away from the crowds.
