Amazing 2 day tour of Siwa! Worth it! - This was a fantastic 2 day Siwa tour. It is such an interesting and beautiful place. My guide Dr Muhammed was super knowledgeable and accommodating and I can’t thank him enough for the great experience. He showed me around for the lifestyle day of the old for city and the spectacular salt pools which were a highlight together with the desert drive in the afternoon, the oasis and the tea stop in the middle of the desert while watching the sunset was fantastic. The hotel accommodation was very nice and comfortable. On day 2 I was shown around by another guide who was knew everything there was to know about the temples, tombs and ancient history of Siwa. Overall an exceptional trip. I opted for the shared van ride being solo and cheaper. The overnight drive out and back is long one but it is so worth it. Thank you again for a fantastic trip!

An amazing trip to Siwa - Our experience with Windows of Siwa was fantastic! Because of flights and schedule we had to change the itinerary with the organisers which they had no problem doing. Our driver to and from Cairo was lovely and easy to talk to, but also let us sleep. When we arrived in Siwa we had a lovely breakfast and then began our tour of the local sights with Mohamed, our tour guide. Mohamed is very kind, easy to talk to, and extremely knowledgeable about all of the things there are to do and see in Siwa. Most impressive was his extensive knowledge of the drawings and hieroglyphs in the mountain of the dead, as he recounted an entire story for us. He was also very respectful and incredibly patient. He gave us moments to ourselves at the salt lakes and in the desert to take photos and videos which we both appreciated. Our favourite part of the tour was the desert safari where we sand surfed and drank tea as the sun set. Thank you Mohamed for making our trip to Siwa so memorable!

My wrinkles are amazing. - It was the best experience I will never forget with wrinkles. The two days were very intense, with sunsets in the salt lake and desert, the Shari Fortress, the mountains of the dead. As for wrinkles, I was able to check in early to the hotel and had plenty of time to get ready. My guide, Mohammed, was very kind and humorous and told me more about the history of wrinkles. It was a very enjoyable trip that made us want to go again!

Anshin-Dare All-Inclusive Tour - They were very courteous in their support from the departure to the arrival in Cairo! They were very helpful and easy to understand guides at the tourist sites we visited. The hotel I stayed at was very beautiful and breakfast was delicious! It's really easy without having to put out a wallet because it's all-inclusive and I think it's a great value for the price. If you have friends who are going to Wrinkle, I would definitely recommend this tour!

Unforgettable experience at the Siwa Oasis - It has been an amazing experience, it has exceeded all our expectations. We have had the opportunity to get to know Siwa in depth: its history, its origins and the magic that surrounds this wonderful place. We enjoy its salt lakes, its desert, its sunsets, its food and, above all, its people. We have felt part of Siwa. We would like to thank especially our driver Ahmed, who accompanied us with such dedication during the journey from Cairo to Siwa, and Mohammed, for his attention and kindness in the days before and during our stay, making this experience truly unforgettable. Finally, we also want to thank the hotel for its proximity and hospitality, always attentive with us and offering us water and towel when we needed it.

Amazing. - Beautiful experience, Siwa is beautiful, even if far away. We left Giza at 9pm and then Cairo at 10.30pm, by bus, for 10-11h drive (all taken care of by the organizer). It was a long time... but there it is exceptional. We visited the few ruins of the temple of Amun, then the dirty lakes where we floated, the cleopatra baths (it’s a big water hole in the village), we then had some free time for a nap then we went to the desert to see the sunset, it was magical! Even more beautiful than in the white desert. We then went for a swim in a hot spring. The next day we visited the tomb mountain, then Shali fortress, the Oracle of Alexander the Great and Dakour mountain, as well as the museum of Siwa (very small, with small film). We had the morning off until the evening when we went to see the sunset on the island of Fatnis. We then took the small bus (9am) at 8.30pm to arrive at 5am in Cairo. Our guide was great, Egyptologist, everyone called him “doctor” and knew him. He gave us lots of explanations and gave us all the time we needed each time. He speaks only English, however. Do not hesitate to go! It is unforgettable. Maybe even add one night there if you have time.

Decent - Siwa was amazing and unique but wouldn’t have travelled if I knew it would take 12 hours there and 14 hours back. Muhammed was nice enough to arrange a bigger bus on return as the first one was extremely uncomfortable. I would say the highlight of the trip was the salt lakes.

Don’t Trust The 5* Reviews - I’ve been asked to replace my honest review for a 5 star review so that it looks better for the organiser. After being forced to leave 5 stars, I cannot trust the other reviews left for this experience, and I’m giving it 1 star instead, so you can thank yourself for that Mohammed. Siwa salt lakes are worth visiting however take into consideration that the journey there took 12 hours, and the journey back took 14 hours with 3 hours being stationary due to road closures. The other stuff in the itinerary aren’t worth the long bus ride, but the salt lakes are, so make sure you don’t miss that if you’re planning to go.
