BEST GUIDE! Book this trip for Sintra! - Francisco was the BEST GUIDE! We had such a wonderful time exploring Sintra and Cascais with him. The van was comfortable, the views amazing, and the excursions delightful!!! Francisco knew literally everything about everything, and was so kind and helpful. He was great at picking good activities to do (Pena Palace, Quinta da Regaleira, Cascais Bay) and gave us a delicious seafood restaurant and historical bakery to stop for bites to eat. The only thing I regret is that we didn't have more time with him! Thank you, Francisco!

Wonderful experience!!! - Our flight was scheduled to arrive in Lisbon at 6:30am & knew we could not check into our hotel until 3pm so we booked a private tour with Fransisco to spend the day in Sintra . He picked us up at our hotel at 8:30am and we brought our luggage with us in his car. He was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable about Portugal. He drive us to Pena Palace, The Moore Castle and took us to lunch at a local restaurant in the village of Sintra. The town was so charming! He even walked with us through the narrow streets and suggested doing a shot of Ginja (cherry Liqueur) in a chocolate cup. It was a true experience and one we will never forget! He drove us back to Lisbon stopping at various beaches along the way. We packed in so much in one day & would highly recommend this tour!!!! Abrigada Francisco!!!

Highlight of Portugal - This was one of the absolute highlights of our three week trip. Francisco was a phenomenal guide and got us to each location before the crowds became too large. Could not recommend his services enough.

Fabulous!! - We could not have had a better experience! Francisco Basso is a wonderful tour guide!!! Highly recommend!!! Francisco was knowledgeable, friendly and his recommendation for lunch was the best meal we had in Lisbon!

Best day spent in Portugal! - The day tour of Sintra with Francisco is not to be missed! Our day was expertly planned from a visit to the Pena Palace to the beautiful village of Sintra and the Palace followed by an amazing lunch on the ocean in Cascais and a breathtaking drive along the coast! A lifelong resident of Lisbon, Francisco was able to share so much interesting history and we learned so much! We had our pictures taken at every stop and tickets to tours were ready to go! Francisco is entertaining and a great, safe driver- very attentive. Skip the tour bus and have a private tour- you will not regret it! We will definitely be hiring him again when we visit again next year!

Best time in Sintra and by the Sea! - Francisco was an amazing tour guide and host for our day! He let us know beforehand the best approach to Sintra and all of the amazing sites. His plan was perfect for our timing and interests. He shared so much history and so many stories with us! It was just what we were looking for. I would highly recommend this day trip and Francisco!

Fransisco is the best! - Fransisco picked us up right at our airbnb! He was timely and customized the trip to our specific needs. He is a wealth of knowledge! He knows all the tips and tricks to ensure you make the most of your day at Sintra. The morning pastry recommendation was amazing & the lunch spot was some of the best seafood we’ve ever had!! Fransisco treated us like family! We couldn’t recommend him more! Such an incredible experience!!

Fransisco was amazingly knowledgeable both in terms of his understanding of the history and culture but also his local knowledge about the best food and drink spots during the trip.
Very chatty and pleasant to be around.
Took all the stress and thought out of planning a day trip to so many sites!
Highly recommended.

Discovering Sintra and Lisbon’s Beauridul Coastline - Francisco was amazing. He is full of knowledge and loves to share it. He asked what we wanted to see but since this is our first time we let him
lead with his expertise! Learned so much about Sintra and Lisbon (all along the coastline which is beautiful). Will definitely recommend him to any of our friends who come to Lisbon and will have him again when we come back! Muito Obrigado Francisco! Until next time!

Excellent Tour! - My daughter and I had an amazing time with Francisco as our tour guide today. He expertly customized the tour to fit our wants and needs.
Driving and parking in the area can be a nightmare, but Francisco knew the roads well. He drove us everywhere, shared many interesting facts along the way, and ensured we stopped and visited all the sites we wanted in the time we had. This alone made our trip much easier and so much more efficient. Another great advantage was having a personal photographer; we finally got great pictures of both of us that are not selfies.
If you're looking for a knowledgeable guide who can also serve as a driver and photographer, Francisco is the perfect choice. We highly recommend him!
