Wonderful tour with kids - We had the best experience during this private whole day tour for our family of 4 - 2 adults and 2 kids (2 and 5 years old). The communication was great even prior to the tour with them confirming the kids ages and our tour guide Ricardo coming prepared with car seats for the kids. Ricardo tailored the tour to our family’s needs and went above and beyond to keep the kids entertained. We went to Belém and Cascais on the way to Sintra and Ricardo took us to the perfect spots that included a bit of nature, history, and city! Throughout the tour of Pena Palace, he kept the kids occupied with different animals to spot and I’m surprised they were so interested in the palace tour! We cannot recommend this tour enough. Not sure about all the tour guides, but we had Ricardo and he was amazing!

Phenomenal nice tea coffee - The most phenomenal experience we have had on this trip. Angela is extremely knowledgeable very compassionate always thought ahead of what our needs are you are foolish not to have her as your tour guide in Lisbon

Great way to see Sintra and the Pena Palace - We had a wonderful day out with our guide Angela yesterday! It was totally stress free, with a very civilised 9.30am pick up from our hotel!
First off we drove to Sintra and had ample time there to walk around the beautiful village and the gardens of the old Castle. And we also took a coffee break to recharge our batteries.
Then shortly after midday we made our way to the Pena Palace. (We skipped the line and had a minibus to drop us right up at the Palace so that was well appreciated).
The Pena Palace was stunning, inside and out! We’ve travelled a lot and visited some amount of castles and palaces but this was definitely one of the most memorable ones we’ve seen.
The tour was excellent value for money as it was so well organised and we were so well looked after by Angela. I would highly recommend it to others.

Great day at Pena Palace! - What an amazing place! We're so glad we chose this tour. Susanna was wonderful, we learned so much from her. It was also nice to not have to wait in the long entry lines. There was time left for a short visit to the village of Sintra, which was also charming. We would definitely recommend!

Best of Portugal in 5 days - The visit to Sintra was the highlight of our tour. The Pena Palace and the Castles and the surrounding and the spectacular views from the castles and the architecture and history was very enriching and our tour guide Filipe was very knowledgeable and patient and detailed in sharing the history and showed us all the prime areas this would not have been possible without a tour guide as Knowledgeable as Filipe . Azenhas do Mar restaurant where we had dinner was amazing with a great view and the sunset worth watching. Highly recommend it . Swingo did a great job and highly recommended. Then the trip to Oporto was a private tour and it was a good overview we got of Portugal . Thank you !

The perfect tour of Sintra and Pena Palace - We thoroughly enjoyed this tour of Sintra and Pena palace. Everything was perfect, including our guide, Teresa. She was excellent and a total joy to spend time with. We greatly appreciated being picked up from our hotel. It made is so easy and convenient. Teresa was very knowledeable, and we learned a lot!

Incredible Experience - It’s an incredible side about 1,500 feet above sea level. It began as a monastery, and it was taken over and added to in multiple different styles. It’s quite an incredible and impressive place. You do not want to visit Portugal and not see this phenomenal place. Our guide was quite knowledgeable, and he was extremely helpful given that my husband needed help walking.

Insightful and Memorable Sintra Tour with Miguel - We had a fantastic day touring Sintra with Miguel! He was incredibly warm and welcoming from the start. He took us through the beautiful streets and local shops of Sintra, and even made a last-minute change to the itinerary so we could visit the stunning Queluz National Palace.
Miguel’s knowledge of Portuguese history was impressive—he didn’t just share facts, he told the big-picture story of how Portugal’s Kings and Queens evolved over the centuries. It brought the palace and the entire region to life in a way we’ll never forget.
Thoughtful, flexible, and engaging—Miguel is everything you’d want in a guide. Highly recommend booking with him!
