Book Hugo for your next tour, he’s the best! - If you’re booking a tour in Portugal - stop searching and book with Hugo! He’s the real deal. From the moment we met him, it felt like we were hanging out with a friend, not just a guide. He’s personable, easy to talk to, and genuinely cares that you have the best possible experience.
What stood out most is how real he is. No upselling, no pressure - just honest recommendations and good energy all day. You can tell he loves what he does and has been doing it for a while. He’s also a surprisingly great cameraman - he knows exactly what angles the girlies want and is more than happy to play photographer when you need the perfect shot!
Hugo curates the tour around you. If you’re chatty, he’ll match your vibe. If you’re more quiet, he gives you space. Whether you’re into history, local culture, or just want to explore freely, he tailors everything to your pace. He’s flexible with timing and gives you the freedom to wander and soak things in before moving on to the next adventure.
Since he’s a local, you also get that insider experience - great food spots, local tips, and cultural gems you’d never find on your own. Plus, he’ll even teach you a few fun Portuguese words along the way.
We spent about seven hours with Hugo, and the time absolutely flew by - that’s how you know it was a genuinely enjoyable day. If (or honestly, when) I come back to Portugal, I’d 100% book another tour with him - not even because I need to see the same places again, but because I know he’ll make it another unforgettable experience.

Eduardo Guided Sintra, Portugal - Eduardo was so great. We learned so much about Sintra!! He was kind, funny and very accommodating. We felt as if we were friends by the end of the day. I highly recommend this tour of an amazing place and Eduardo for making the day a beautiful experience❤️😎

Outstanding - Eduardo is an outstanding tour guide, the best I have had the pleasure to spend a day with over several years of travel. He is personable, extremely knowledgeable and knows how to structure a day of touring based on your wants and needs. We had a great trip in Sintra and we saw in detail everything we wanted. Fun filled day - We absolutely LOVE Eduardo! He was amazing. We only had one day in Lisbon and he made it a memorable one. Knowledgable, great with our kids, and a wonderful personality. Highly recommend.

5 Stars - Eduardo was a fantastic guide who is very knowledgeable about history and the sites. We experienced rough weather but he was able to re-arrange and customize our tour on the spot, allowing us to visit the places we wanted. We saw Sintra, and coast, and ate at a delicious local restaurant. It was one of our favorite things we did in Lisbon! We are happy we splurged on a private tour since it made for a more personalized and comfortable experience.

The gardens are a dream - I loved everything from the gardens to the Penta Palace.
I regretted a little the weak use of the spade when entering the palace, because on rainy days there is no protection.
The restaurant tb is nothing special. But valued by the lush green of the gardens and the beauty of the palace

Heart and Soul Tours is the BEST - Eduardo is the absolute best! There were six couples in our group and a perfect day was had by all! Eduardo is knowledgeable, animated, passionate, funny and an expert on all things Portugal. His tour is an absolute must do when visiting Lisbon.

Nice tour of Sintra and can be customized - The trip to Sintra was very nice and having lunch on the beach was incredible. Only advice is better communication about activities for the day so the appropriate entry tickets can be secured in advance since the tour can be customized. Work with the customer more up front. Thanks. Advise of traffic in advance,
