Wonderful experience. -
Luis was the best! He was so knowledgeable about the area and history. He was funny and friendly. He prebooked our lunch reservation at a great restaurant in Cascais on a busy Mother’s Day. Thank you Luis!

Comfortable tour! - Our tour guide and driver Sandra was really great. We didn’t feel any stress throughout the tour, and she provided us with good information not only of the spots we visited but also of some sweets and lunch which were all excellent. She made our trip to Lisbon much better than expected.

The best experience for our 30th Anniversary! - We loved our tour with Luis! We were promptly picked up at our hotel in a comfortable Mercedes. While driving to Pena Palace, Luis gave us a lot of the background history that we would need to know in order to really take in and enjoy the palace. Once we got to the palace, he gave us a tour around the grounds and the gardens. And when it was time for the palace to open, he took us straight to the front of the line. We had paid for go to the front of the line experience. So we were one of the first to go into the palace. Luis gave us a very detailed history of all the different rooms and the people that lived at the palace. He also took pictures for us. Luis was very knowledgeable in architecture, history, botany, and everything that pertain to the experience. We left there and went into Sintra. Luis gave us some instructions and some of the history of the town and then let us go so we could shop and also eat some of the delicious pillow pastries at a café that he recommended. He also recommended we try the Gingha Chocolate cherry drink. Delicious! After that, he took us to Cabo the Roca. It was very beautiful to see the natural cliff formations. Once again, Luis was very attentive. From there, he took us the Cascais, so we could experience the town, but also he had made reservations for my husband and I's 30th Anniversary, at a local eatery. The food was amazing! It was called Mar do Inferno. Luis also suggested that we try some of their green wine which is made from the green grapes of the Douro Valley . It was a great recommendation! After this, Luis drove us through the coast and we were able to see many of the forts and sites of that area. It was truly a wonderful day and Luis made it so special. He made John and I feel welcomed and he made sure we were safe and only had the best.

Highly recommend this private tour - This was a great day trip from Lisbon. Our driver/guide was Luis and he was excellent! He knew shortcuts to take to make the best use of our time and was very personable and informative. We had plenty of time at each stop and it helped to have him guide us through the Pena Palace. He was always right there waiting for us at the other stops and gave us a great recommendation for lunch in Cascais. I’d highly recommend No Map Tours and Luis. A well deserved 5 star rating!

An incredible day trip from Lisbon to Sintra and Cascais - While the itinerary for our planned day trip had to be altered because of recent storms that closed access to Pena Palace, our tour director, Sandra, let us know the day before and had a great option to offer us. In Sintra, we were able to go to Quinta da Regaleria - which was fantastic. The palace, the gardens, the towers, the 'well' were all amazing. From there we headed to Cabo da Roca and on to Cascais. The 'rock' is the westernmost point in continental Europe with stunning views. Cascais is a great coastal town. Not too touristy and very vibrant, with some great places to eat. Throughout the day, Sandra provided great historical knowledge. We highly recommend a private tour like this.

Unforgettable Private Tour of Sintra, Cabo da Roca, and Cascais - Our private tour of Sintra, Cabo da Roca, and Cascais was an absolute highlight of our trip! From start to finish, everything was seamless, comfortable, and incredibly informative. There were six of us on the tour, and our guide, Luis, made sure everyone had an exceptional experience.
Although Pena Palace was closed due to a severe storm that left over 200 trees down and made the roads impassable, we still made the most of our time in Sintra by visiting Quinta da Regaleira— and what an incredible experience that was! Luis guided us through the estate, sharing fascinating history and leading us to secret spots we would have never discovered on our own. His knowledge of the area and passion for storytelling made the visit even more special.
Beyond Sintra, we explored Cabo da Roca, the breathtaking westernmost point of continental Europe, and the charming seaside town of Cascais. At every stop, Luis ensured we had the best views, the best photo opportunities, and the best insights into the culture and history of the region.
This tour exceeded all expectations, and despite the unexpected closure of Pena Palace, we wouldn’t have changed a thing. If you're looking for a private tour that is both immersive and unforgettable, I highly recommend this experience—especially with Luis as your guide!

Great tour if time is limited! - If you only have one or two days, this tour is a great way to get an overview of Lisbon attractions. Thiago , our guide, was very knowledgeable, and despite the poor weather made this a thoroughly enjoyable experience. Highly recommend!
