Learning to eat at the Hawker Centres. - We really enjoyed the Hidden Hawker Gems Culinary Tour in Singapore! Our guide, Kristine, was delightful, warm, knowledgeable, and fun. We learned so much about Singaporean food and culture. I went with my 93-year-old mother, and Kristine took wonderful care of us throughout the tour. We were lucky to be the only two participants, which made it a very personal experience. It also helped us get familiar with the hawker food centres so we could go back and explore them on our own. A great way to experience delicious Singaporean food! We highly recommend it .

A fabulous evening tasting traditional dishes - We had the BEST experience with William our tour guide who was so knowledgeable. He brought us to some fantastic small eateries to taste true Singapore dishes amongst the locals. All of which were truly delicious. From there we did a walk locally, while William explained local traditions & pointed out some historic buildings. All in all it was a great night & William was an exceptional host. If you get the chance to do this your, don’t hesitate & mage sure you ask for William to be your guide, you won’t regret it!

William is the GOAT of culinary tours! - William was an amazing source of knowledge and energy delivering a 10/10 culinary tour of a local Singapore neighbourhood hawkers market. We ate 8 different dishes from all types of local backgrounds, expertly explained by William about how they came to exist in modern Singapore. Once our group couldn’t eat any more, William then kindly offered to give us a walking tour around the neighbourhood itself explaining a lot of the history of that particular area of Singapore in great detail. Can’t recommend William highly enough - more than 24 hours later he was still offering our group assistance with securing bookings at restaurants and offering suggestions for some of the lesser known/visited places of interest in Singapore.

MJ curates the perfect tour! - MJ, was amazing. I got a personal tour of the Chinese cultural center, and the Hawker center. He was so helpful and knowledgeable. He made sure I got home safe as a solo female traveler. I love the extra care he took to make sure my visit was the experience I wanted.

Go hungry - We chose this tour because we wanted an authentic experience. Our guide William certainly delivered. He took us to areas off the beaten tourist path. He was very knowledgeable about the dishes and knew the best places to take us. He also shared background on the food and neighborhoods we visited. The portions my husband and I got to share could easily have fed another person. 10 different dishes in total! We also got to explore the neighborhoods a little and see how the local community lived. I would recommend this tour to anyone seeking a more authentic experience to get the best food. Skip lunch and go for dinner.
