• Singapore - Start your day with an early morning pickup from your hotel in Singapore.

A professional driver will greet you at the hotel entrance to verify your documents before guiding you through the Malaysia drive-through border, eliminating the need to stand in line.

Once through immigration, your English-speaking guide will ensure you’re comfortably seated in a private, air-conditioned minivan for a 4-hour chauffeured journey to Malaysia’s capital, Kuala Lumpur.

• Starbucks Melaka Raya - On the way to Kuala Lumpur, there will be two stopovers.

The first stop is at a highway rest area near Malacca, offering Starbucks/Costa Coffee and western-style restrooms (toilet paper available upon request).

The second stop (effective from 31 July 2024) will be at a 5-star Marriott/Hilton Hotel, where guests can enjoy a premium western breakfast or a traditional Malay breakfast upon request.

IMPORTANT: Guests who have selected the “Malacca side trip” option will enjoy an additional UNESCO Melaka highlights tour (Dutch Square, A Famosa Fort, St. Paul’s Hill & Church, Middelburg Bastion, UNESCO Wall Art, St. Francis Xavier Church, Jonker Street, 15-minute Trishaw Ride) before continuing to Kuala Lumpur.

• Batu Caves - Upon reaching Kuala Lumpur, one of the initial stops will be Batu Caves. The limestone forming Batu Caves is estimated to be around 400 million years old. Established by K. Thamboosamy Pillai, an Indian trader, in 1891, it serves as a Hindu Temple dedicated to Lord Murugan. A 42.7-meter high gold-painted statue of Lord Murugan was unveiled in January 2006, after three years of construction. It is the tallest Lord Murugan statue globally.

IMPORTANT: The sequence of sightseeing stops may be adjusted based on Kuala Lumpur city traffic, crowd management, and weather conditions to maximize time efficiency.

• Maa Durga Sri Sai Baba Temple - Near Batu Caves is the Sri Durgai Amman Temple, dedicated to Goddess Durga, often considered the most powerful female Hindu deity, typically depicted with 8 or 10 hands.

Goddess Durga symbolizes the victory of good over evil, portrayed in mythology as a warrior who defeats demonic forces threatening social order, economic stability, and dharma.

In this temple, Goddess Durga is depicted as a beautiful woman riding a lion, with multiple hands wielding weapons to conquer evil spirits.

In essence, Goddess Durga’s numerous arms represent her role as an all-powerful and fiercely protective goddess.

• Istana Negara - A 30-minute drive from Batu Caves is the Istana Negara (National Palace), the official residence of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Malaysia’s monarch. The palace complex spans 97.65 hectares, features 22 domes, and is divided into three main sections: the Formal Component, Royal Component, and Administration Component.
• National Monument - Following the National Palace is the renowned National Monument, locally known as Tugu Negara. This historic bronze sculpture honors those who perished in combat during Malaysia’s fight for freedom against the Japanese occupation in World War II and the Malayan Emergency from 1948 to 1960. It stands as a tribute to the bravery, courage, and unity of the fighters who sacrificed their lives for Malaysia’s independence. The statue is recognized in the record books as the tallest freestanding group of bronze sculptures at 15 meters high.
• Central Market - A 10-minute drive from the National Monument is the Central Market. Originally established in 1888, it was refurbished into its current Art Deco style in 1937.
• Royal Selangor Central Market - While at the Central Market, your guide can take you to the renowned Royal Selangor gift shop. Each Royal Selangor cast pewter contains 92% to 97% tin, meeting the highest international standard for pewter, with a small amount of copper and antimony added to strengthen the alloy.
• Merdeka Square - A 10-minute drive from the Central Market is Independence Square (Merdeka Square). This historic site is where the Union flag was lowered, and the national flag was raised for the first time at midnight on 31st August 1957.
• Merdeka 118 - From Independence Square, you will have a vantage view of the Independence Tower, locally known as Merdeka 118. Topped with a massive 160-meter spire, the tower is still under construction.

Upon completion in late 2023/early 2024, it will become the world’s second-tallest structure, surpassing the Tokyo Skytree at 634 meters.

• Sultan Abdul Samad Building - From Independence Square, you will have a vantage view of the Sultan Abdul Samad building, one of Kuala Lumpur’s earliest Moorish-style buildings. Constructed in 1897, it was named after the reigning sultan of Selangor at the time. This distinguished landmark originally housed the offices of the colonial British administration and the superior courts of Malaysia.
• Royal Selangor Club - From Independence Square, you will have a vantage view of the Royal Selangor Club. Founded in 1884, the club initially served as a meeting place for high-ranking and educated members of British colonial society. Selangor is the state in which the capital, Kuala Lumpur, is located.
• Menara Kuala Lumpur - A 10-minute drive from Independence Square is Menara Kuala Lumpur, also known as the KL (Television) Tower. This 421-meter tower is primarily used for telecommunications and is situated on a 94-meter hill affectionately known as Bukit Nanas by locals.
• Petronas Twin Towers Gift Shop - After capturing exterior photos at KLCC Park, your guide can take you to the gift shop of the Petronas Twin Towers. The Petronas Twin Towers are currently the world’s tallest twin structures. The 88-story buildings are connected at the 41st and 42nd floors by a 58m double-deck Sky Bridge.

You will also have the opportunity to photograph the famous Mercedes-AMG F1 car replica at the Petronas Twin Towers gift shop.

• Thean Hou Temple - Next, your English-speaking guide will take you to Thean Hou Temple, completed in 1987. This six-tiered temple is dedicated to the Goddess of the Sea (Mazu). You can also find the Goddess of Mercy (Guanyin) and Protector of the Sea (Shui Wei Niang Niang) here.
• Prime Minister’s Office - Located 45 minutes from Thean Hou Temple is the Malaysia Prime Minister’s Office (Perdana Putra Building). It is situated on a 50-meter high hill overlooking the city. The Perdana Putra Building is finished in natural stone with a green dome.
• Putra Mosque - Near the Malaysia Prime Minister’s Office is the Putra Mosque, renowned for its pink-granite domes. Completed in 1999, it is named after Malaysia’s first Prime Minister, Tungku Abdul Rahman Putra.

Note: Guests wishing to enter the mosque may do so briefly, provided it is not closed to the public (i.e., outside Friday prayer times). Otherwise, guests may be respectfully asked to only take photos from the outside.

• Palace of Justice - Located near Putra Mosque is the Palace of Justice, which houses the Federal Courts and Courts of Appeal. Relocated from the Sultan Abdul Samad Building in 2003, the Palace Of Justice is also built with classical Islamic architecture.
• KLCC Park - Finally, your guide will take you to KLCC Park, where you can capture iconic ground photos of the world-famous Petronas Twin Towers.

IMPORTANT: Guests wishing to see the exterior night view of the Petronas Twin Towers should remain in Kuala Lumpur until sunset at 7:45 pm.

• Singapore - After photographing the Petronas Twin Towers, you will head back south to Singapore. Once again, our driver will escort you through immigration via the Malaysia drive-through border (no standing in line).

Depending on traffic conditions and the actual departure time from Kuala Lumpur, you will arrive in Singapore 4-5 hours later, where a complimentary hotel drop-off will be provided.
