  • Batu Caves - A limestone hill featuring one of the most popular Tamil shrines outside India. The limestone forming Batu Caves is estimated to be around 400 million years old. It is a significant place of worship and a great landmark for photos, especially with the rainbow-colored steps leading up to the hill. Expect to see pigeons and monkeys along the way. Don’t forget your sunglasses as it can be very sunny.

  • Petronas Twin Towers - Identical Towers, Identical Wonders. Capture the spires of the PETRONAS Twin Towers and the Kuala Lumpur skyline. This iconic landmark in Kuala Lumpur and Malaysia features 88 floors inspired by Islamic art. The sky bridge connects the two skyscrapers, making it a fantastic photo spot. At the base of the towers, you’ll find Suria KLCC, KLCC Park, and KLCC Aquarium, perfect for shopping, leisure, and family fun. Suria KLCC Shopping Center and KLCC Park offer free admission, providing excellent photo opportunities with the Twin Towers. Stay to see the towers transform into a bright, bustling metropolis at night. Enjoy the glittering night at KLCC Lake Symphony and the River of Life.

Since then, it has been the usual venue for the annual National Day Parade. A 95-meter flagpole, one of the tallest in the world, stands at the southern end of the square. It’s another great spot for photos, showcasing the architectural beauty of Kuala Lumpur that represents Malaysia.

  • Thean Hou Temple - One of the oldest and largest temples in Southeast Asia, this ornate Chinese temple is dedicated to the Queen of Heaven, Thean Hou, the protector of those who make their living from the sea. The temple incorporates Buddhist, Taoist, and Confucian traditions. Some visitors believe the panoramic views of Kuala Lumpur alone make the trip worthwhile.

  • Putra Mosque - One of the most modern mosques in the world, the pink-domed Putra Mosque is built with rose-tinted granite and can accommodate 15,000 worshippers at a time. The basement wall of the mosque resembles that of the King Hassan Mosque in Casablanca, Morocco.

Malaysia in a day... - Lucky to have Ms. Kang as our tour guide. She is very knowledgeable and accommodating to the needs and quirks of our group. She is "very game" with what we want to see and do at each site. Love the add add-ons! Our driver Allan was also very safe and yet spot on the schedule, even when we were running late, we finished everything on time. Love the Chinese restaurant he found for us!
