DOPE, EASY, NOT-TO-BE-MISSED ZIPLINE RAINFOREST EXPERIENCE - Our guides on this journey were incredible. There was humor, ease, knowledge, safety, and fun. This trip was exactly as advertised: a wonderful, safe, easy breezy, beautiful experience not to be missed. The Bocawina rainforest is gorgeous and lush, even on our humid buggy day, there was nothing to complain about! We saw some howler monkeys, we got to go on all 9 lines and 12 platforms, we had a lovely time as a couple taking turns going first and second, and our guides kept us chuckling and feeling knowledgable about how to navigate the course. It was a perfect hour-long adventure!

Great Ziplining Experience! - My family of three, including our 11 year old, loved ziplining at Bocawina! There were 8 of us total in the group and two very personable guides. We learned a bit about the plants and animals we saw on the hike up to the platforms, about a 10 minute walk uphill. Then, there were short little treks between the nine ziplines. My daughter had to go tandem on a few of the lines but could go independently on most. The lines were very high and some were pretty long so you could take in the views as you zipped through the canopy. Afterward, we ate at the restaurant on site and the food was very good.

Amazing fast and furious! - Wow ! What an adventure- I’m 55 and never zip lined because I was too scared. Going with my daughter I wanted to prove I have confidence to do anything ( no matter if I’m scared ) By the 3 zip line I was smiling ear to ear ! So much fun . The staff ate excellent in training techniques and advice so just follow directions. Very safe and fun ! Friendly staff and professional!

BEWARE! Don’t book online - they will rip you off!!! - This is my first ever TripAdvisor review but I felt I have no recourse as I received no help at the office onsite. The star given is for the tour guides who are excellent. I booked online and they advertise on the operator website a price of $75 US and nowhere on the website does it say that two zip lines are closed down, including the longest one (as per the guides for ‘well over a month’) and that onsite they charge a price of $57 US. In addition, for reasons which I don’t know I ended up on a commercial booking site which ended up charging full fee plus a surcharge of at least 15% whole making you believe you are on the actual owner/operator website. I used direct links from their website and ended up at Viator. When I asked at the desk at Bocawina about the website I was told that the website is ‘controlled’ in Canada so they have no control over it in Belize… in the end I ended up paying $603 USD for a tour that should have cost me $400 USD for 7 people, with the reduced rate. They have had more than enough time to have updated their website. The fact that their booking agents are not updated for the reduced rate, that their own website is not updated, that they associate and take bookings from a agent who destroys their own reputation, shows what this organization values above a good reputation…. It always comes down to how much money they can extract from their customers… after all, we’re just tourists and won’t likely come back…

Viacom is a ripoff!!!’ Beware!!!! - Nothing wrong with the trip itself but DO NOT BOOK ONLINE. they have 2 zip-lines closed down including the longest one (which is their advertised claim to fame) but still charge full fee online even though they give a discount if you book and pay directly with the operator onsite. This has been going on as per the guide for at least 6 weeks so it’s no excuse that they have not updated. Furthermore, booking through Viacom adds a 16% surcharge but make believe that you are booking directly online with the operator and don’t state that they are overcharging twice - in this case don’t provide the discount plus charge their fee on the original price. Total ripoff and ruined what would have been an adventure. When I asked at the site I was told that their website is operated out of Canada so it’s not their fault… but yet it’s their website and they happily take bookings from Viacom. BEWARE BIACOM!!!!
