Exciting & fun - We’ve done this tour 3 times over the past 10 years. It’s been fantastic every time. Both Fini & Freddy are great skippers, very funny and informative. The lunch was delicious, and the dancing with the villagers was lots of fun. I’d recommend this tour to all visitors to Fiji.

Must do in Fiji! - Had an amazing time on this tour! We were in the bus with Lesley (Lady Gaga) and Inia (SpongeBob). They provided interesting history of Fiji and local towns as we drove from Sigatoka to the jet boat dock, and kept the whole bus laughing. Captain Ace on the boat was engaging, and was able to point out some interesting sights on the way to our village. The village experience itself was incredible. We all felt so welcomed into their community, and it was interesting to hear about their way of life. The food the women cooked was one of the best meals I'd eaten while in Fiji, such a wide spread and all delicious! We ended our time in the village by dancing together, then it was time to head back to the boat. The boat ride back to the dock was faster, including a few 360 degree spins getting us all a bit wet! Overall a great day, would highly recommend for anyone visiting Fiji for a way to get a village experience that is authentic and that benefits the villagers.

Fantastic family adventure, exploring local culture - Captain "Hot" Leps took us on an exciting journey down the river & through the picturesque salad bowl. His stories were both humorous and insightful and the boat ride was a lot of fun for the whole family (note- you will get a bit wet from the splashing, but that is part of the excitement of the ride). The village visit with Sidam was a great glimpse into the lifestyle & culture of the local people. The lunch was amazing, we were welcomed with food, singing & dancing and had a wonderful time. Highly recommend this adventure!

Amazing experience on the Jet Boat Safari! - Loved the sigatoka river safari! All the staff and the local village were so lovely and welcoming and went to a lot of effort to make me and my family comfortable. On top of that our Jet Boat driver Captain Jack was very experienced and we felt safe the whole time. Our bus driver Zac was lovely and made the ride from the Warwick to the jet boats fun and we also felt very safe. I would recommend this to anyone travelling Fiji!

Had a blast - This was a great day out for all, I travelled alone as my husband was ill, I was very well looked after, the trip up the river to the village was informative, we stopped along the way at various locations for chat time and questions. Once at the village we were welcomed with a cava ceremony from the villages before a short walk around, then we heard the call for the unveiling of the lovo which was meats and vegetable cooked in the ground on hot rocks. We then had a feast which was prepared by the villages before some local dancing. The children in our group had a great time with the local children playing around. The ride back in the jet boat was great with a few 360's along the way back.

Fun & Cuture - We were picked up exactly on time, taken to depot to sign in then on to start of jet boat ride. Captain Laps (hotlaps) stopped several times along the route to tell us about his upbringing in one of the villages and about their culture. He also told us what to expect when we got to the village - one of 9 which the company takes tourists to. Arriving at a primitive jetty, which would make NZ Health and Safety bods go into orbit we climbed out of the boat and made our way across stoney ground, up a path to the village. After donning the sarongs provided by the company we entered and were greeted, told about the village, their source of income etc then invited to walk around. Then on to the meeting house for a cava ceremony. I and my 3 friends were treated with deference when they saw our wrinkles and guessed our arthriticky joints! They gave us chairs so did not have to negotiate sitting on the floor. The lunch consisted of a large variety of dishes, including delicious spinach patties and pancakes and fruit, provided by the ladies. We were then entertained with singing and dancing and encouraged to join in. Back to the boat and a fast trip back down the river with four 360 turns, getting us all very wet. Conclusion: It was a very enjoyable and worthwhile tour which is to be recommended providing you are fit enough to clamber on and off the boat, negotiate stony ground and an uneven path. A towel and change of clothes are not essential but quite useful!

Genuine People - Sharing time in the village was the most memorable part of this day. The people in the village were welcoming, warm and genuine in sharing their culture & their home with us. Lots of laughs and fun as well.
