A great experience - a. ‘Must Do’ - A great experience all round - thanks to Tia and Moses for being great guides and all-round helpful and friendly. This tour (with a pickup from the hotels on the Coral Coast) is an immersive experience in Fijian culture and history. The ‘welcome to family’ by the local chief was a moving experience. The cave, though not a great example of a limestone cave, was full of interesting stories and histories, well presented by Tia.The BBQ lunch was a great example of Fijian food and well cooked by Moses and enjoyed by all.

See the real Fiji - We were welcomed with big Bula smiles at HQ in town before heading out on the buses to the tour base. Tia (Maria) and Moses were awesome guides taking us through a village and stopping at some gorgeous photo opportunities before arriving at the home of the priest in charge of the cave. After receiving a blessing we headed into the cave which was an easy walk. The cave is amazing, you will get wet going in. Tia is so passionate about the history of the cave and shares her knowledge freely. After exploring the cave we headed back to priests home for a kava ceremony and to enjoy an enormous spread of food cooked up by Moses on the bbq: make sure you try the Breadfruit!

Naihehe cave Tour - We participated in the Naihehe cave tour with lunch. Our guide, Tiamaria was very knowledgeable and happy to chat about what we saw and answer all our questions about the tour and Fijian life in general!!! We were made to feel very welcome by Bill and his family members whose land we passed through to get to the cave and where we also had lunch. Moses our driver got us there and back safely and also conducted the welcome ceremony with Bill( presented the Karva to Bill). We had an awesome day and highly recommend the tour!!

Don’t miss this!! - Absolutely hands down the BEST thing we did on our stay! Beautiful hosts (Sadam and Moses …. Vinaka!!) spectacular scenery, lots of local insights shared and exploring the cave at the height of the day was amazing!! Lunch with the priest and his family was generous and tasty and the kava tasting lived up to expectations. Cannot recommend highly enough to first time Fiji visitors. I am NOT a fit person and have reasonable balance and was not troubled at all by the small amount of walking and the crawl in through the mouth of the cave. Our hosts were always nearby with a kind word and a steady hand to assist as needed. Put this at the top of your list … you won’t be sorry.

Magical Day - Absolutely perfect day spent with lovely people, I was solo and meet the most amazing family of 16 people. Visiting the villages is a must. The guide Sudan (the nice one hehe) was warm caring and full of information about the area. I wish I knew we could take treats for the children from the villages. The hospitality was outstanding. Could not recommend this tour anymore.

Unforgettable Cave Safari with Sadam and Moses! - My partner and I recently embarked on the Naihehe Cave Safari in Sigatoka with BBQ lunch, and it was hands-down one of the highlights of our Fiji trip! From start to finish, the experience was immersive, authentic, and thrilling. A huge shoutout to our guides, Sadam and Moses, who made this adventure truly exceptional with their warmth, humour, and deep knowledge of Fijian culture. The tour felt incredibly personalised—Sadam and Moses took the time to connect with us all, sharing stories about their own lives, local traditions, and the history of the Sigatoka Valley. Their insights brought the experience to life, from the traditional kava ceremony with the village priest to the tales of the cave’s role in Fiji’s tribal past. They answered every question with enthusiasm, making us feel like we were exploring alongside friends rather than just tourists. The Naihehe Cave itself is jaw-dropping—absolutely massive and a bit unnerving, but in the best way possible! Wading through thigh-high water and ducking under low entrances with only headlamps to guide us added a sense of adventure, but we always felt safe with Sadam leading the way. The cave’s natural formations and eerie atmosphere left us in awe, and learning about its historical significance as a fortress was fascinating. The BBQ lunch was the perfect way to wrap up the tour—delicious, fresh, and served with a stunning view of the valley. We loved chatting with our guides and fellow travellers over plates of local meats, veggies, and sweet pineapple. The whole day felt like a seamless blend of adventure, culture, and relaxation. If you’re looking for a tour that’s off the beaten path and rich in authenticity, this is it. Sadam and Moses are absolute gems, and their passion for sharing Fiji’s heart and soul made this an unforgettable experience. Book it—you won’t regret it!

Wonderful Adventure and Unique Experience - This was quite an experience! Definitely recommend this tour so long as you are reasonably adventurous! The 4 wheel drive was interesting both going to the cave and homeward. Bouncy alot of the way. Fresh air and amazing banter from Tia, one of our guides. The driver, Moses, and Terri, our cave guide, were great. Had the 'permission to enter the cave' ceremony. Then the adventure begins. You must wear shoes/sandals that are able to get wet and pretty sturdy. You need to be able to walk through a forest, bend and crouch. But JUST AMAZING! The cave experience was pretty unique and in an area perhaps not seen so much in Fiji. Definitely recommend!

Amazing experience - Sadam was a fantastic guide who made our family feel so welcome. He shared so much about his culture and history, making the experience both educational and memorable. The cave was an incredible adventure that our whole family enjoyed, and the drive to the village was absolutely stunning. The kava ceremony was a special highlight, giving us a deeper appreciation of the local traditions. We highly recommend this excursion for families looking for a unique and enriching experience!
