Additional Information
Our unique Off Road adventure takes you deep into the heart of Fiji using specially designed vehicles. Your guides will enliven the trip by sharing the fascinating history of the area and introducing you to the traditional Fijian way of life.
Venturing off the beaten path allows you to personally experience the historical and geological sites that have remained untouched since ancient times.
The Off Road Cave Safari is a half-day expedition (4.5 hours) that culminates in a spectacular visit to Fiji’s most stunning cave system, the Naihehe Cave.
An integral part of this journey is requesting permission from the Bete (priests) before exploring the cave system.
Your guides will provide an in-depth understanding of the role these caves held during the Fijian wars and the importance of this region in Fiji’s final war.

Fantastic day with Tia and Zach - This was a wonderful visit to the cave and village. Tia was a great guide who educated and entertained us on the drive and on the tour of the cave itself. Zach expertly drove and grilled an amazing array of veggies and sausage for our lunch. This vegetarian was delighted to have such tasty options - the best I've had in three weeks in the South Pacific! Thank you for a lovely day.

Magnificent experience - This is a wonderful chance to experience Fiji village life and the Fiji ancestry. The scenery while travelling along is breathtaking and the history in the cave is riveting.
A big thank you to our guides who were great. Our driver Zac was hilarious, thanks Zac.

Fabulous tour with very knowledgeable local guide! - Our guide was fantastic. Funny and so knowledgeable! So sorry but I can’t remember his name. Sponge bob was my driver and was also very polite and professional. Highly recommend

Great cultural experience & adventure for all ages - This trip was amazing! We had such a great trip to the Caves with Tia Maria & Moses. The kids loved high fiving locals from the truck as we drove by.
Tia was a great guide through the cave, making our experience exciting & enjoyable, while Moses cooked a delicious BBQ which we ate while connecting with some of the locals.
Such an amazing cultural experience, while also exploring the cave & learning some of Fiji's history.
There is an easy walk to and around the cave, we had our 15 & 6 year old kids (who don't like walking) and they handled it easily.
Highly recommend this tour!

A must do Fiji experience - Was recommended to do this tour by our travel agent and was thoroughly impressed. Seamless connections from hotel to joining our tour group. Great facilities and guides were super knowledgeable and thoroughly entertaining. Learnt a heap of history and a beautiful authentic experience. Sidam and Moses were top notch at looking after us

Wonderful time inside Fiji- the cave is a must - The tour was fantastic! Amazing views and lovely staff. Everything was on time and well organised. Saddam is very knowledgeable and gave us a very thorough explanation of the cave’s history and the village’s culture. Lunch was nice. The cave is a must particularly while listening to it’s history. Thank you also to Moses for driving us with a smile on his face. We thoroughly enjoyed our time.

What an awesome experience! - This was a fantastic tour! Highly recommended! Our tour guide, Saddam and driver Moses were excellent and all the other staff we encountered were friendly, helpful and professional. Saddam was very knowledgeable and imparted his anecdotes about the area with wit and fun. We loved learning about and seeing the real Fiji and my family enjoyed and appreciated the Kava ceremony in the village and the cave experience was awesome too. It was a lot of fun and very interesting. So glad I heeded advice and brought my reef shoes with me and clothes that I didn’t mind getting wet. Was well worth it! We then had a delicious BBQ lunch with freshly grown local produce .and then a short stop in the town. Over all, an outstanding, fun experience!

Zac was the best - Great day out
Shout out to Zac, Tia and Sudam for a great day out
Everything was perfect from start where Zac picked us up from our hotel to the very end where Zac put us on another bus so we didn’t have to stop at the various hotels along the way
This saved us at least an hour travel time

Outstanding experience!!!!! - It was an absolutely amazing experience !!!
The company did a phenomenal job setting the itinerary, the sightseeing and the guides and drivers that were part of the team (Tia, Zack, Sadam and our driver that picked us up from the Hilton Hotel) !!!
We are extremely grateful for being able to spend time in this part of the country with the crew that you provided !!!
We are also grateful for being able to meet the chief of the village and doing the Kava ceremony with him.
