A tasty dream of wine - An unforgettable wine tasting experience in the heart of Tuscany! Our visit to the Tuscan countryside was nothing short of magical. Surrounded by rolling hills, vineyards, and olive groves, the setting was picture-perfect. The wine tasting itself was exceptional—we sampled a variety of local wines, from bold reds to crisp whites, each paired thoughtfully with cheeses, cured meats, and fresh bread. What made this experience even more special was how warmly they welcomed our family. They went out of their way to include our 10- and 14-year-old daughters, offering them fresh juice, local treats, and engaging them in the storytelling of the vineyard’s history. It felt like a family experience, not just an adult outing. The hosts (Maya) were incredibly knowledgeable and passionate, sharing the winemaking process with charm and authenticity. It wasn’t just a tasting—it was a cultural experience. This was a true highlight of our trip to Italy. If you’re visiting Tuscany, don’t miss the chance to slow down, sip incredible wines, and soak in the beauty of this region. Highly recommended!

Great wine tour close to Siena - We loved this tour! Interesting and experienced guide, a gorgeous setting, beautiful views and great food and wine. Learned a lot and enjoyed meeting other international guests over lunch. Super close to Siena also which was important for us after having traveled too much the days prior.

Organic Wines Take Time! - Informative tour of an organic winery; so much to learn about what goes into making a good, organic wine. The wine was delicious and so was the lunch. The grounds are beautiful and picture postcard worthy.

Organic wine and olive oil - Found this wine and food tour and loved it. Beautiful setting in the winery. We toured the vineyard and cellars. Then the wine pairing!!! So good my husband bought a case to take away and one shipped home. Loved the fact that it was organic. Our guide. (Sorry can’t remember her name!) was very knowledgeable and took great pictures of us in the vineyard. Met some lovely travelers and shared food and wine. Two thumbs up.

Best tour in Italy - Maya was AMAZING!!! She is passionate about organic wine making and farming but also is fun and engaging!! This has been our favorite tour since we have been in Italy. You must go and support this family run vineyard. We can’t wait to get our oil and wine in Chicago. The lunch by Angela was made with love and was incredible. Thanks for a spectacular afternoon!!!

Wonderful small intimate winery - This beautiful organic winery could not have been any more perfect!! We had a small group our tour guide Mya was extremely passionate and knowledgeable about the whole process and also VERY ENGAGING! We just loved the intimacy of this small winery. The lunch was absolutely delicious! We highly recommend this organic winery! We can’t say enough wonderful things about! It was a wonderful experience.

Wonderful afternoon wine adventure! - I had such a lovely experience at Azienda Agricola La Lastra! As a solo traveler, I felt incredibly welcome and even made some new friends during the tasting. Mia was a fantastic guide—knowledgeable, passionate, and thoughtful in explaining their winemaking process and how climate change is impacting the region. The food was delicious, and the wines were even better. My favorite was the Chianti Colli Senesi. Highly recommend visiting—it’s just a short drive from Siena and absolutely worth it!
