The umpteenth wonder.... to better control - Thank you for this extra opening, which allowed me to see this absolute wonder. I will not comment beyond what is plain for all to see: pure Art. A work that has no equal. NOT TO BE BELIEVED.I want to point out how, at the entrance, the female visitors (mostly foreigners in beach clothes) were given a simple shawl with which to cover at least their shoulders. In the vast majority of our churches people are allowed to enter discrete .. a shame, when compared to what is rightly required in other states (Greeks and Muslims above all). Not so much care I must say about the men: some of them walked around the Duomo with their hats on their heads, without the many overseers scattered around the aisles finding anything to complain about. More respect, excellence, more respect.

Amazing - Beautiful cathedral from top to bottom, inside and out. From the marble inlaid floor to vibrant painted ceilings, a stunning site. Booked advance tickets and no wait. Please see it yourself.

Wonderful. - Beautiful cathedral. Already externally it is a sight... but the interior is wonderful. The most beautiful cathedral I've ever seen. We were also lucky enough to be able to visit it during the period of the uncovered floor (the floor of the cathedral is discovered only during specific periods of the year). It's wonderful. I recommend taking the all inclusive ticket with door of heaven. This ticket includes a visit to the cathedral, library, baptistery, opera museum and also allows access to the attics of the cathedral so you can admire the cathedral seen from above. Must-see attractions

Unmissable - Unmissable, on the outside it is very nice but inside it is a work of art both its floors and ceilings, the pulpit very important and beautiful

Great church. - This one is a must see. It’s huge and very ornate. In February it was not very crowded which allowed an easy time looking around. It’s one of the best churches that I’ve seen and I’ve seen a lot. Prefect.

What a pity that the floor is covered - A true gem inside and out! The truth is that you don't know where to look because you see so much, and the library inside is incredible. What a shame they have the floor mosaics covered. So I would come back to everything a thousand times. Buying your ticket in advance saves you time as you don't have to wait in line.

Essential Siena experience - Frescoes in piccolomi library are worth seeing. Cathedral itself is a cavernous baroque beauty and an essential Siena experience.

something unique - one of the most beautiful in Italy in this period you can admire the famous mosaics which are normally covered for their protection, the art gallery with its wonderful ceilings, absolutely worth taking a tour of the door of heaven a tour of the attics of the cathedral with overlooking the interior of the church.

Great to revisit after 8 years - This is one of my favourite churches, both for its unusual architectural and decorative characteristics and for its floors. The entry fee of 8 euros seems reasonable, given the upkeep and maintenance that must be performed.
