A must for those who appreciate Brunello wines - One of the best tours I’ve taken. I can’t say enough about the quality of people from the person who pick up us in the am to the winery tour guide and the chef teaching the cooking class. Everyone had so much pride in explaining the history of the winery, the unique Brunello wine process and the detail and preparation on the meal. This was so much better than a general winery tour. If you appreciate Brunello wines, this is a must.

We recommend this tour! - My husband and I had a great time on the Brunello di Montalcino tour with Camilla! She was so fun and knowledgeable! The wine and food were amazing, as were the people! This tour was one of the highlights of our trip. I recommend this tour to anyone that enjoys fine wine, food and great people.

Excellent tour and tour guide - We had a great time on the Brunello di Montalcino tour. The wine and food were amazing as were the people. Camilla was an excellent tour guide! She was so fun and knowledgeable. Plus she gave us some recommendations for our trip to Florence. I would recommend this tour to anyone. It was a highlight of our trip!

Brunello Wines—not just a pretty color! - We were picked up promptly near our hotel in Montepulciano by our driver Michele who elaborated on the history of Pienza and explained the importance of Brunello wines on our way to the first winery. He was very informative and prepared us well for our first tasting.The vineyard was beautiful and the grapes had been picked earlier in September. After touring the facility and seeing the fermentation tanks and barrels, we tasted about 6 wines and bought two different types to have shipped home. Michele then took us to Pienza for some free time to explore the streets and shops.
The next visit was to a traditional vintner, one of very few who do not crush or press their grapes during fermentation, but let them sit whole in tanks for 50 days. They use large barrels of Slavonian oak to eliminate the impact of the wood on the grapes. The wines paired with a 3 course lunch were elegant and refined, a nice comparison to the first winery.
Michele and Tours of Tuscany exceeded our expectations—informative, engaging, and fun! Being driven through the gorgeous countryside with no worries was so worthwhile. Thank you, Michele!

Best wine trip in Italy - Our first trip to Italy was unforgettable. This tour was amazing. We did a two day excursion. For this tour, we went to the Brunello area and visited wineries in the Montalcino area. Our driver was Vincenzo and he was a great guide. Very informative and a great conversationalist. The day before this, we had Palio as our driver in the Montepulciano area. He was great as well. It was an experience my wife and I will always cherish. When we go back, we will definitely ask for either of these drivers from Tours of Tuscany. Even the lady in the office was able to answer my questions during booking and was extremely helpful. I would strongly advise this company as they really care about their customers.

Ten out of ten! Would do it again! - This tour could not have been more perfect! I have been to Italy many, many times and have taken several wine tours in various areas of the country,. This by far was far superior to any of the others. Stephan, our driver, was so knowledgeable and passionate about both the wines but also about the country and its history. He pointed out various spots along our route and told us about what they were and the history of the area.
The two vineyards were different from each other in terms of size and operation which gave us a perspective of how producers differ from one another. The owner and guide of the vineyards spent a lot of time with us explaining the methods used, the legal requirements and the process in detail and were very helpful in answering our questions. The meal we were served was top notch and all of the people we met throughout the day will remain in our hearts and minds.
Don't think twice! Book with Tours of Tuscany. You won't be disappointed!

Book It! - Highly recommend this tour! They were incredibly accommodating, not only picking all 12 of us up at our villa, but also waited for us to finish dinner, well beyond what the time the tour allows. The wineries they organized were perfect; small intimate operations, while also very informative, not to mention the wine was amazing. Can't recommend this enough!

Informative, Fun Day in Montalcino with Amazing Food and Wine - We were 10 people in 2 vans, picked up at our villa in San Gimignano. Our drivers were friendly and informative. Camilla was absolutely lovely and spoke excellent English. She drove us to two Brunello wineries with a stop in between to visit the fortress in Montalcino and time to walk around the town and enjoy the amazing views. I understand that the wineries vary according to availability, but we visited the women-run family winery PATRIZIA CENCIONI and also Paradiso di Cacuci, where we had a delicious meal with our tasting. We learned a lot and had so much fun. The ride was comfortable and we saw amazing scenery with commentary by our wonderful driver. We came home with some wine to enjoy for the duration of our trip, and also got a great deal to ship bottles home. Highly recommend this tour!

A perfect day - Stefan was an incredible host, as were the hosts at the vineyards. We had a perfect day! The wine was incredible, the drive was beautiful, and the day was spectacular. I could not recommend it more!! One of our very favorite days in Italy.
