Competent, nice ambience - highly recommended! - Boris introduced us to the world of Slovenian wines. Very friendly, entertaining and recommended. The ambience is beautiful, a highlight!

Outstanding Wine Tasting Experience! - This is a wonderful, unpretentious, experience which was informative, personal and fun! Hats off to the leader, Boris, who is a genuinely great guy who goes out of his way to make this a great experience for everyone. He will even connect with you post experience if you want to buy something or learn more. The facility is excellent and gives a great atmosphere for the tasting experience which comes with snacks to pair with your wine samples. The wines are fantastic too!

Great experience learning... - Great experience learning about Slovenian wine from Boris. It was fun to learn a bit about wine from different regions and try wines I wouldn't have typically chosen for myself - inspired me to try more Slovenian white wines throughout my trip :) Great communication before, during, and after the tasting!

An experience worth a visit - Excellent opportunity to get to know Slovenian wines. Boris had selected 7 wines that we enjoyed tasting and enjoying. All in a warm atmosphere. An experience worth visiting!

Excellent wine tasting with great opportunity for feedback to host - Boris the host was excellent. A very good and knowledgeable delivery. He was both friendly and pry. 7 very good Slovenian wines with appropriate nibbles. Recommended.

Great experience - The amount of wine we tasted on the small side for the price paid. I paid an extra €20 for three extra tastings. Boris was an excellent host, knee his stuff and chose some excellent wines. He also gave us a potted history of Slovenian Wine Making, including orange wine, a local speciality. We had nibbles and chocolate to try to compliment the wines. It worked surprisingly well.

Absolute disappointment - We were very excited to book this wine tasting experience. I booked in early June for a tasting on July 5. I received two confirmation emails with clear instructions to meet at Dvorni Wine Bar for the tasting. Great so far right? The day before the tasting I received another reminder email with no additional instructions beyond meeting at the location on time. On the 5th we arrived at Dvorni Wine Bar to find out that Boris and team had been kicked out/ceased their relationship with Dvorni and now were “somewhere else”. The emergency phone number included in all correspondence didn’t work. A helpful staff member of Dvorni called Boris and put me on the line. The tasting had been moved up to the castle with no update or explanation. The castle is a 30 minute uphill climb or €6 funicular ride. Boris was extremely rude and dismissive on the phone, blaming the central company for the lack of communication. He told us we should hike up the hill and though we would miss the program we could still drink some wine samples. No apologies, no ownership of the clear error on his part. In the end, he offered to refund us, but thus far has failed to do so. I will be filing a dispute with my credit card company this week. In happy news, we ended up staying at Dvorni wine bar where they made up an awesome custom tasting for my wife and I. I highly recommend Dvorni if you are in Ljubljana!
