Nestled in the stunning mountainous landscape of Doi Inthanon, this village is surrounded by vibrant green forests, lush rice terraces, and verdant coffee fields. In the past, opium cultivation was the primary source of income here. The Thai government has long combated opium farming among Northern Thailand’s hill tribes, and today, the local population primarily earns income from farming, supplemented by tourism. Baan Mae Klang Luang is renowned for its coffee crop. Visitors are welcome to sample the locally grown and freshly roasted coffee.

This full-day excursion showcases some of the most breathtaking natural attractions on Northern Thailand’s tallest mountain. Experience a magnificent waterfall, visit a traditional hill tribe village to immerse in local culture, marvel at the stunning twin King and Queen Royal Pagodas surrounded by vibrant gardens, and enjoy a serene nature trail walk through lush forests before reaching Thailand’s highest point.
Throughout the journey, breathe in the fresh mountain air, take in panoramic views, and discover the unique flora and birdlife that flourish in this cooler climate.
The maximum number of participants per group is limited to 10 people.
- Please note that the National Park fee (THB 300 per person) and lunch are not included and must be paid in cash on the day of the tour.
- The Royal Twin Pagodas are a religious site, so dress respectfully. Avoid wearing flip-flops, revealing tops and cover your shoulders and knees.
- Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the tour start time are eligible for a full refund. For cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance or in case of no-show, no refund will be issued.
- Our tours operate rain or shine. During the rainy season, it’s a good idea to bring a raincoat or poncho. Please note cancellations due to weather are not eligible for a refund.
- During the winter months (November to February), it can be chilly on Doi Inthanon, so we recommend wearing long pants and a sweater or jacket.
- While changes to the itinerary are very rare, the tour operator reserves the right to modify the published schedule whenever, in our judgment, circumstances require it or if we consider it necessary for the comfort, convenience, or safety of our guests.
