Great way to experience the Great Barrier Reef. - Very knowledgeable tour guide. The weather was not on our side that day but was still enjoyable. Would definitely recommend.

Easy and Fun Excursion! - We needed an easy excursion for my handicap parents who wanted to see some of the Reef and marine life. The crew helped us get them on the boat and safely watch. We all enjoyed the comfortable ride, the glass bottom viewing of the Reef, and the information given by the guide. We did go on a beautiful day when the water was fairly clear. Very delighted with this excursion!

Snorkel without getting wet !! - Well worth the price! The skipper knew several spots to "park" and let us drift over various corals, as fish swam past and he explained in depth what we were seeing. Every seat had a view through the glass. Water was a little cloudy, which muted any colors to yellows and greens - but he explained the vivid colors on coral colonies indicate a stressed system. We also went to an area where turtles hang out, and passengers on one side saw their heads pop up. No dolphins that day!

A great way to tour and stay dry - A great option for a quick tour (that keeps you dry) to view some coral and fish species in and around Shute Harbour. If you don’t have a full day to go further afield and aren’t interested in getting your feet wet, then this is the tour for you.

Nice way to spend an hour. - It was a nice way to spend an hour. We didn’t go to far, loved seeing the coral and fish, the young lady was very knowledgeable and made it suitable for the children with references to Nemo. Quite pricey for what it was tho

Knowedgeable Captain - This was a nice way to see the variety of coral in the GBR, though the color was lacking. We saw many fish and at least two sea turtles. Two other groups were not interested in the commentary. They spoke loudly to each other and some engaged in phone conversations, which made it difficult to understand the young Aussie lady who tried her best to inform us about the coral. The captain was very knowledgeable and spoke clearly into his microphone. We were glad we took this tour.

Coral Views - Seeing fish from under the boat in a coral set up. Dropping fish food to feed and attract them to come.

Temper Your Expectations - If you temper your expectations you will be fine. Don't expect bright and colourful coral. The water will probably be murkey and the colours muted. The ship is well laid out for viewing with enough space for all. If you are taking pictures through the glass you will see reflections of the support rails in your photos. I don't swim well so I took this tour as my only option for seeing some coral. It was okay.

I can understand boat... - I can understand boat fuel is expensive but it's downright ridiculous to go across the pier and just hang there and see NOTHING. It's a useless tour. Please ask the operator to take a little more money and take the boat around so that one can see the reef, corals and myriad fish at least. In it's current form it's a big waste of time and money
