Incredible Layover Tour – Herbie Made It Unforgettable! - I had a long layover in Beijing and decided to book a tour of the Great Wall of China and the Forbidden City – and I’m so glad I did! This tour was the perfect way to make the most of my time, and our guide, Herbie, was absolutely fantastic.
From the moment he picked us up at the airport, Herbie was friendly, knowledgeable, and incredibly organized. He made everything so easy, from navigating the traffic to helping us skip lines and explaining the fascinating history behind each site. His passion for Chinese culture really shone through, and he made both the Great Wall and the Forbidden City come alive with his stories and insights.
Despite the limited time, we never felt rushed. Herbie even managed to fit in a delicious local lunch and still got us back to the airport with plenty of time to spare.
If you have a layover in Beijing, don’t waste it sitting at the airport. This tour is 100% worth it – and if you’re lucky enough to get Herbie as your guide, you’re in for a truly memorable experience!

A spare day in Beijing - Booked this trip as I had a spare day in Beijing. I was not disappointed. The guide and driver were both exceptional. Knowledgeable and helpful. Communications by email was straightforward to arrange the trip. Well worth considering

Great guide and tour - Great tour with Herbie who was an amazing guide. Very knowledgeable and welcoming. He answered all the questions we had and was always attentive, making sure that we had everything we needed and had time to see everything. I wish all the guides I’ve had before were as nice and helpful as Herbie, would definitely do another tour like this if I have a layover in Beijing.

Great experience - Herbie was a great guide with wide knowledge of not only the Great Wall and the Forbidden City but the culture and traditions as well. We really enjoyed the tour, they provided us warm coats and water. The car was also spacious and comfortable. I would recommend you to do this tour if you have a layover in Beijing.

Fantastic Wall of China and Forbidden City Tour - We made a 9-hour stopover in Beijing and hired the tour with this company to visit the Chinese Wall and the Forbidden City. As we had been told, at the point we were waiting for our "Herbie" guide and from the first moment it was lovely. He provided us with information about the points to visit (striving since our English is very basic, with drawings and everything), he made numerous photographs (incidentally very good) and at the end of the tour even a detail had us prepared.
I recommend 100% contract with this agency and especially if the guide is Herbie.
Thank you so much for everything Herbie, you are spectacular!!!

Perfect layover tour - Nina was my guide at the time. The instructions are clear on where to meet. The other people who were supposed to join didn't show, after consent we waited a bit longer for if she might show up. In the end we left with still more than enough time. She really knows a lot of history and gives the whole package. She was kind and helpful. The great wall was amazing and the forbidden city as well. Really worth the trip!
