Full day of fun at Roatán! - Our tour guide (sexy chocolate) was so nice and he talked about Roatán a lot giving very informative data. Zipline was good but we loved the food and snorkel sooo much! We had a blast!

Good Times in Roatan! - We knew it would be a fun day when our guide introduced himself as Allan, aka 'Sexy Chocolate'. After many years of zipline adventures, this was absolutely the best we've every experienced. Our day included ziplining, animal sanctuary (sloths, monkeys and birds), chocolate factory, rum and rum cake tasting, snorkeling (though we skipped due to rain/cold weather) and an amazing authentic lunch. Since we didn't snorkel we had time to include a ride around the entire island. Allan even stopped to purchase Lechi fruit so we could taste them fresh from the tree. Can't say enough good things about our experience. And, it was within walking distance of the ship's pier though they meet you just outside the ship port.

Very Helpful during cruise cancellation - We had booked our Roatan Tour directly with Anderson Tours a few months ago but after the corona Virus caused our cruise to get cancelled, I emailed them about what to do. They responded within 24 hours and fully refunded our tour. They have always been responsive via email and have been great to work with. We hope to rebook our cruise when able and will definitely use them again.

Highlight of our Trip! - This excursion was the highlight of our trip! I would recommend Anderson Tours for any excursion on the island! Although he has no interest, our tour guide Shorwen Hamilton could run for president. He knows everyone and is greeted by name with a wave or a warm smile. Shorwen went out of his way to show us places on the island we had not seen before. Being a native of Roatan he is very well informed and educated on where to go! I believe this allowed us to go to unique spots to take pictures and to see part of their island that we may not have seen with someone else. The zip lining was awesome!!! Both my husband and I (42) and our children (14, 12, and 10) enjoyed this experience! We were entertained by the parks staff who could do crazy tricks while zipping to the different platforms as well as making everyone comfortable to try things themself. My kids tried flips, going upside down, and zig-zagging left to right, while the rest of our group kept it simple straight and vertical. Next and just as awesome was the animals. The animals are well kept and a lot of fun to interact with. We held a sloth, a few monkeys (including a momma and her baby) and a few types of birds! We then ate lunch in a treehouse with a great view and a delicious meal; followed by some relaxation time at a beautiful beach. The water was calm and the resort was welcoming. Shorwen stayed close at all times to answer any questions we had. The entire day was wonderful! The only little side note that I would add, is to be prepared for tipping. I do not know what etiquette is for these situations but the zip line staff asked for a tip and suggested $20.00 a person. We thought a 100.00 tip was a bit hefty and did not give anywhere near that amount. I would ask Shorwen or your tour-guide privately or just know what you want to do ahead of time so you can be prepared. This was our second time to the island and it happened both times (different places). For this particular tour we tipped (the zip line staff, the animal tour guide and Shorwen). If we ever get the chance to go back to Roatan, we will most definitely book anything we do through Shorwen! I highly recommend this excursion and/or Anderson Tours!

Zipline, Sloth and snorkel worth it. - This tour was organized by Honduras Anderson Tours; however, there are working with other companies. Our first stop was the zipline. The guys operating the ziplines were fun and very nice. We then went to view the animals. The monkey "George" bit me on the neck and shoulder. The sloth was sweet. There are only about 6 total animals. The next part was the food at "Paradise". They didn't seem to know our meal was supposed to be included as part of our tour. There was 5 of us and they only served us 4 plates. It took a long time to get the chicken/shrimp. They served 3 of us and then about 15 minutes later brought out the fried chicken. Food was ok. The snorkeling was great. There was a lot of coral and some fish. Watch out for going to the bathroom. They want to charge you a $1.00.
