- Arakurayama Sengen Park - This park starts at the base of Mt. Arakurayama and stretches up the mountain. After climbing 398 steps, you’ll reach an observation deck that provides a panoramic view of Fujiyoshida City and the towering Mt. Fuji. While the Spring sakura (cherry blossom) season is ideal for photographing the iconic scene of Mt. Fuji, cherry blossoms, and a five-storied pagoda, the park offers breathtaking views year-round that change with the seasons.
- Mt. Fuji 5th Station - Situated 2300 meters above sea level, the fifth station of Mount Fuji is located halfway up the mountain. The Fuji Subaru Line (Yoshidaguchi) 5th Station is the most frequented among Mount Fuji’s 5th Stations. It’s an excellent spot to view the mountain’s peak, and there are numerous gift shops and restaurants to enjoy.
- Oshino Hakkai - Oshino Hakkai consists of eight scenic ponds in Oshino, a small village in the Fuji Five Lake region, nestled between Lake Kawaguchiko and Lake Yamanakako. These ponds are remnants of a former sixth lake that dried up several hundred years ago. They are fed by snowmelt from Mount Fuji, which filters through porous lava layers for over 80 years, resulting in exceptionally clear spring water that is highly valued by the locals.

Depart from Tokyo by bus and arrive at Kawaguchiko Oishi Park where you can capture beautiful photos with lake Kawaguchi and Mount Fuji in the background. Continue to Arakura Sengen Park, located halfway up Mount Arakura in Fujiyoshida in the Yamanashi Prefecture. Take in the panoramic views of the city with Mount Fuji in the background and admire the cherry blossoms in Spring.
After that will be Oshino Hakkai, one of the most famous spots in the Fujisan area. You can see the 8 different lakes located there and taste the water from Mount Fuji. The last spot you will go to 5th Station (half way) of Mount Fuji, which is 2300m high. You can enjoy some special food or buy unique souvenirs here, with very close view of top of Mount Fuji. In winter, we will go to 4th Station/Mt. Fuji 1st Station or Yamanakako Hananomiyako park to see the diamond fuji sunset view instead.

Mt. Fuji Day Trip - Full day trip. We had perfect weather to see Mt. Fuji. Tour guide & driver were very professional. Experience was well worth the 10 hour day. The fall colours are just starting to burst into their vibrancy.

An enjoyable day - We had an enjoyable trip and visited a number of interesting places albeit very touristy which we expected.We were very lucky with the weather which meant we got loads of great pictures of Mount Fuji at the first stop where we enjoyed the lovely ice cream.By the time we got to stage 5 it was shrouded in cloud which was disappointing.
The driver and guide (Sophie )were very good although we would have liked a little more commentary on local history,customs /practices.
On the downside the toilet on the bus was unavailable which made it difficult to be properly hydrated given the amount of time we spent on the bus.The return journey was tedious with the traffic but that was nobody’s fault.
Overall a good trip though.

Nice relaxing roundtrip - If you are looking for a guided roundtrip around the tourist spots in the area of mt. Fuji / lake kawaguchi, this one is a good pick! The guide was very nice and funny too!

Nice route but no guide. - It's a nice, good organised trip but we didn't get any information about the sights and about the country in general. Driving in silence... Good for those who want to sleep. The girl who accompanied us was friendly but she is not a guide, just organiser. She told something exactly three minutes when we approached mount Fuji. It was a ten hours drive.

The tour is fine. But... - The tour is fine. But they changed the original schedule and sent a notice to us just one day before the tour. It disrupted our plan totally. They should let us know earlier.

Mount fuji tour without the mount fuji - I think if the mountain had been visible the stops they picked would have been good but take away the mountain and 2 of the stops were a waste of time. It seemed to be an ice cream tour rather than a mount fuji tour.
Obviously they can't do anything about weather and clouds however something really annoyed me.
Going to the 5th quadrant we drove by the 4th quadrant and in a split second we saw the mountain. People on the bus gasping. But it was out of the blue. No prior warning no time to even take a picture and that was the only glimpse we got the whole day. Why not stop the bus for 2 minutes and let everyone take a picture of the thing we were on the tour to see? You've got to do things on the fly to maximise the experience but nope straight to the 5th level where we saw nothing.
Tour guide spent 20 minutes describing every ingredient of a noodle dish that was available at 1 of the stops. So bizarre. More time talking about this than the mountain.
We spent 10 hours on a tour and got a 2 second glimpse of the mountain. A good tour guide would have changed the tour on the spot and gave us enough time for 1 picture at that moment.
He pointed the mountain out by saying oh by the way if you look on your right you'll see the mountain. What a joke. Surely hes experienced enough to know when its coming up and give us some notice so we could take a picture. That really annoyed me.
Also the messages before it were banging on and on about the importance of being on time. If you're 1 minute late you'll be left behind. This starts the whole thing on a negative for no reason. We know how tours and times work dont treat us like children. Oh by the way the bus was 20minutes late arriving so they looked like idiots.
